  11. Brad, Let me know what turn out. For $100 shipped, you can have a new set of driver from Senn.
  12. Yep...the older P1 sure looks nicer. If I could land a used Jap version P1 for around 1.2k I might do it.
  13. CJ, Sorry to hear of your loss.
  14. Oooooh...Happy belated birthday Mike!!
  15. Happy BD Birgir!
  16. I'm in the same boat as well. Though the HD800 is really really nice headpones but I'm so happy with what I have so I won't get the HD800 any time soon unless the price starts to come down and I have more time to listen to music again. Like others, I might have the pull the trigger on the HF2 before it will run out.
  17. I heard the HD800s recently and have to admit that it is an excellent sounding headphonoe and deserve all the praise. However, I do feel that the R10 do sound sweeter and has more organic & fluid presentation. OTOH, the HD800 might present a little bit more air, details and seperation of instrument albeit a bit dry in presentation, but at the end of the day I just prefer the R10. I'm hoping that I will get a chance to compare the two in a better and more quite environment to have better conclusion.
  18. Brent, Nice write up. I really enjoyed meeting new friends. Wish I can listen to the HD800 more quitely. So far a very impressive headphone but I still prefer my R10.
  19. All packed and ready to go. I can't wait to audition the HD800 for the first time.
  20. Make sure to bring nice nice stuffs Tyll!! Have a safe journey.
  21. Have a great birthday man!!!! Wish I can be 26 again.
  22. Sorry to hear Al. Hope a trusty tech. can revive your amp.
  23. Wow....this start to sound like a pretty nice meet!!! So Tyll, will you bring along the HD800?
  24. I will take my DHA3000, Headcode Dual Mono, and Pico DAC to the meet.
  25. I'm trying my best not to purchase the HD800. This thread doesn't help..
