Thanks for posting this. Not sure if I'll be able to make it. Will check with Brent on and report back. Are headphones gears welcomed or will this be a just 2-channel speakers event?

I don't use it a whole lot Dusty but the Maximal Power is very good at holding charge. 550 mah is plenty enough (over 30 hours of run time), but you may want to get the 600 mAH if the available voltage is higher than 7.4 V which is the rated volatge on the 550 mah version. The Maximal power is a very good product.

Have a great birthday Justin!!!

We are not doing bad actually. I think all we need is to loose to the German by 1 goal and we should be into the final rounds.

Seriously though...don't get the AK240. It is way overpriced and the AK480 is likely around the corner. I dislike Astell & Kern business model.....but they seem to sell them like hot cake! Some people even sent their AK240s to vinnie for a mod. $3000 for a portable player is just insane. Releasing new models every 6 months is just insane!!

True but I don't understand the need of preying upon people for money at his age. I mean he is way past his retirement after all.

Tyll, Yes, my second repair experience was much better than the first. Sue was the person who oversaw my repair and she even expedite the repair to meet my traveling date. I'm just hope that I won't have any more problem with my JH13pro in the next couple of years.

Please get rid of his sorry posts. They are a waste of our space...

Be very careful about your loose cable Al. I was untangled the cable one day only to have the earpiece dislodged from the cable and hit the concrete floor. It bounced 4 or 5 times like a marble and the damaged had already been done once I was able to pick it up. One of the midrange driver was dead. Luckily it was repair under warranty and the connector is much tighter now - and probably is too tight . BTW, I highly recommend the Moon-Audio Silver dragon as excellent upgrade cable for the original JH13pro. The improvements over stock are much tighter bass, better clarity, and deeper soundstage. I am able to discern more details in the recording as well. I got the silver dragon used for $100 so it was a good and sensible upgrade.

Hope you are able to get one of these the next time around.

I'm not sure which will be better Tyll, but my GS-X MKII is simply amazing with the HD800. Your HD800 will love you for it. Have you contacted Justin requesting one for a review? I have both the Gilmore Reference Balanced & GS-X MK2 and they are spectacular amplifiers. With lower impedance phones like Qualia & R10, the GR is slightly airier with deeper lows. Soundstage is also a tad deeper and widerer. However, the MK2 is noticeably better on harder to drive phones like the HD800 and almost as good as the Reference with the R10 & Qualia. Between the two amps, I've found the MK2 to be pretty much dead neutral while the GR is just a tad brighter. According to Justin, the Gilmore Ref may still have an edge on lower impedance phones due to beefier PSU and nicer caps (blackgates).

33 now Brent? Yay...have a great birthday man.

Many thanks for resurrecting the T2 KG as well as those who've contributed. I can't stop smiling every time I listen to it with my SR009. Oh, the KGSSHV is wonderful as well.

How about a measurement for T2 KG? I'm curious to find out. Many thanks in advance!

How good is the JH Audio build quality? Not all too good in my experience. Had the left midrange & bass drivers stopped working yesterday. Same thing happened to my right earpiece 3 months ago. The repair cost will be out of my pocket though.
