  1. Sorry, memory blip. Open headphone if I am correct although I would almost call it semi-open since the leakage is not as much as with my old HD42X-series (from the seventies).
  2. Almost done with dynamic headphones...

  3. Almost done with dynamic headphones...

  4. Audio gear comes and goes... If the K400 really set the bar for a dynamic closed headphone standard regarding sound quality a search in the realm of vintage headphones might have more results. I happen to have a K400 but for me a CD1700 comes close. Amplification is the key...
  5. Point taken, having tried as many headphones as I have now - even if it's not that much - it all comes down to what sounds the most acceptable compared to what you hear in real life and how you remember it. Oh well, I will try to audition the DT1350 anyway sometime...
  6. Tyll, thanks for your response. I prefer the K181 over the K81 but the DT1350 is on the 'to try list'. Being Dutch I still think 269 euros is too much given the headphones it is competing with. 200 or 220 and it might have been worth the gamble.
  7. If it is really as good as it is for a on ear closed headphone for both professionals and consumers is it worth the price compared to the HD25, K181, MDR 7506 etcetera? The review seems to suggest the DT1350 is worth the price...
  8. Fostex T50rp, why I skipped this headphone for so long is beyond me.
  9. The T50rp stock sounds quite nice, now I have to even out the low range with the mids-highs...

  10. A good remaster of "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" would be very interesting. It's one of my favourite 'weird' albums and a very fun listen.
  11. Thankfully there is still Jazz...

  12. http://cdn.head-fi.org/0/07/0729c360_headfi_002.jpg The link for the K1000 set up. A bit large but the settings you can make with such devices are amazing.
  13. Trying to find the last audio set up I will ever need...

  14. I once listened to the K1000 with the original audio set up from AKG during the Head-Fi meet in Berlin: in the right set up properly driven it is impressive. If you can maximize its potential it it can be more rewarding to keep the K1000.
  15. In the car industry you have the horsepower race. 46-megapixel? There might be a 50 + megapixel camera in the works...
  16. Isn't the "E.N.D." also a Black Eyed Pees album? Oh well...
