Thanks Torpedo. After I read about that HUBLOT the second time, what I read stopped me from getting one. It was then I started reading quite a bit on different makes of manual winds, and when I read bout JLC's I didn't see one negative thing written about them. There were other makes that read to be as good as JLC, but they were all a lot more expensive. What swayed me into getting the JLC though, was I read they go through a rigorous 1000 hour test. A Mesh SS bracelet is my favourite looking bracelet, and even before I got that JLC I was thinking about getting one to use with it, but the feel and locking mechanism on this Alligator skin strap is so good, I've decided not to bother getting a Mesh. If I do end up getting a mesh bracelet, then the one I've seen that I really like the look of, and I think would go well with Master Ultra Thin JLC's, is a Staib S-2792-PB Pusher Clasp.

In the UK that JLC model new is £5450, and the asking price from where I got it was £4095, but they let me have it for £3900. I didn't pay that amount because I used the OMEGA as part exchange. I'm wearing it now, and I can hardly feel it, I love it.

Thanks EdipisReks. It's not brand new, it's almost a year old, but I got it from the same place I got that OMEGA which also wasn't brand new, and that OMEGA was ( and still is ) in pristine condition, as is that JLC.

Thanks Hopstretch, I know it will, and me getting it is partly to do with you writing that post, the one that was a reply to one I did. I thought it looked very nice in the photos I've seen, but in real life it looks even better, it's also very light and extremely comfortable. Out of all the Master Ultra Thin's I've seen, I like the look of the Jubilee ( Platinum ) the most, but for me to have one I'd have to do a lot of saving. I probably will save for one of those Jubilee's, but in the meantime I'll be keeping this JLC for quite sometime. ( pardon the pun )

I've received that JLC Master Ultra Thin 1348420, and I couldn't be happier, so here are some photos. Sorry about the photos quality, but the light wasn't very good.

Thanks. When I have it I'll post some photos.

Yes, I've seen the moon phase version which I also think is very nice looking, but the one I've ordered was at a price I could go to. It also has a silver dial. I'm pleased you wrote the post in reply to the one I did, because I much prefer the look of the JLC I've ordered to that HUBLOT.

While I was happy with the OMEGA DeVille Prestige Automatic, I'm now only wanting to wear a watch when going out, and because of that I felt a manual wind would be more suited, so I've used that OMEGA as part exchange for a manual wind. After reading good things about it, I was going to get a HUBLOT Classic Fusion, but seeing the post Hopstretch wrote which I've added to this post of mine, [ the post of Hopstretch was a reply to one I did ] I decided to do some more reading about that HUBLOT, and I'm glad I did because other things were written about it I didn't see before. So, I'd like to thank Hopstretch for writing that post because without it I'd have probably gone and ordered that HUBLOT, and more than likely not seen the watch I've ordered. That watch is a Jaeger LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin ( 1348420 ), it has a minute and hour handle, but no seconds handle and date, however I'm not bothered about having those two anyway. It also has an Alligator Skin Strap, [brown ] but the same model is available with a metal bracelet [ 1348120 ], if I was wanting a metal bracelet though I'd sooner have a Mesh. I should be receiving it in a couple of days, so I look forward to that.

Here are some photos of my two safety razors, fusion razor, and badger brush which I had all customised. The safety razor heads are by Above the Tie [ H1 & M1 ], and I had the handles custom made by a local metals engineer using stainless steel and black ebony. The handle is same with the fusion. The brush handle was also modified with stainless steel. The same engineer did the brackets that secures the headband I did to my SR-009's ear cups. I use a fusion razor because I shave my head, and I find that's the safest way to do it. Three close ups of my brush. -
Could EP-007's be used on 009's Birgir, and if so would they achieve the same goal ?

I've never heard any of the Ultrasone headphones and have only seen Hublot watches in photos, so I don't know what you mean.

I've recently seen a HUBLOT Classic Fusion 515.NX.2210.LR... which is made of Titanium and the one I'm referring to has a white dial. I was going to trade in my OMEGA De Ville for a IWC Portuguese manual when I had the spare money, but after seeing that HUBLOT which is also the manual version, it will now be one of those. I usually prefer black dials on watches, but I find that HUBLOT in the white dial looks much better than the black dial version. I've also read good things about the build quality of HUBLOT watches which is the most important. Like the IWC Portuguese though, that HUBLOT Clussic Fusion isn't cheap so I'm going to have to start saving.

There's an IWC Portuguese manual from the same place I got that OMEGA, and I like the look of it even more than the OMEGA, trouble is that IWC isn't cheap so I'll be keeping the OMEGA for sometime.

After recently getting an iPhone 6, I thought I'd tryout it's camera by taking a photo of my OMEGA De Ville Prestige automatic watch, so here's a photo of it.

I recently got an iPhone 6, and because my music collection on my iMac is just under 64GB, I decided to get the 128GB version. I'm using my custom UM Miracles with that iPhone, and as well as having a protective film put on the screen, I also got a leather wallet case to protect the iPhone even further. Before I heard the iPhone 6, I was thinking on getting both the AlgoRhythm Solo dB + Duet to use with it, but because I find the SQ from my UMM's/ iPhone 6 is very good I'm not sure the Cypher Labs gear would be worth getting, however I may get a chance to hear the Solo dB + Duet with my iPhone 6, so if that happens I'll find out if there's such an improvement to warrant getting that Cypher Labs gear. Here are some photo's of the wallet case and my iPhone 6 / UMM's

But look like the HE-90 IMO.

Silver faceplate and volume knob with a matt black enclosure is my favourite look for audio equipment, so your amp looks very nice s_r. Congrats.
-
Is there any difference in SQ between an external PSU and internal ?
-
None at all.

After the paint dried, I moved the new rack closer to the wall, and in doing so it made me able to get to the BHSE's volume knob without much stretching. So I'll be using it's ALPS RK50 most if not all of the time. Using my sources remote control though is an option, which I'd use if I decided to listen to my 009's well away from the BHSE. With me having a SRE-950S I'd be able to do that, although I very rarely use that extension cable.
-
Although I can still get to my BHSE's volume knob where it now is, to get to it I'd have to stretch a bit while sat in the recliner, however if I wanted to be lazy I could use my sources remote control. All I'd need to do is put the BHSE's volume to full, turn on my sources Attenuator, which would then enable me to use it's remote control.

Yes. As you say, Esoteric's are beasts, which is one of the reasons why I went for another welded frame audio rack because I've no fear of it collapsing through the K-01's weight. Thank you.

I've done the shelves for my new audio rack, so with the rack complete here are some photos. The first photo is of my old audio rack showing how I had my headphone system positioned. Here are the photo's of my new rack starting with just the frame. Now with the shelves which are MDF covered in carbon fibre wrapping. The next is with my headphone system. Sorry about the poor quality of the photo's, but at the moment I've only got a cheap camera. Because I wanted the BHSE's amp section to be a little higher on the shelf, I had a local metal engineer to alter 4 support feet I already had, so my isolation cones would fit in them which can be seen in the photo below. Like with the BHSE's amp section, I want all the units on the rack to be lifted so I'm going to have a few more of the supporting feet made. As can be made out, some marks on the wall to the right of the photo's are where I've been painting that wall. Because the paint was still wet, in the last photo I couldn't put the rack as far back as I wanted because I didn't want paint to get on the power cords and interconnects, so in the photo below the rack is away from the wall. When the paint's dry, the rack will go closer to the wall and when that happens the stand at the side of my old rack in the first photo, will be showing, with photo's of the new rack it can't be seen because it's behind and to the right of that rack.
