Thanks, everyone! Spent the day shopping for and assembling Billy Bookcases, but I’ll soon be headed to my favorite steakhouse in the City for dinner tonight to properly celebrate.

Indeed. Work: Home:

Swedish M3.

Very sad to hear the news. I was a big fan and 46 is far too young. RIP.

Happy birthday, G-Unit!

The Aldus family in their natural habitat... poolside!

Cuphead Original Soundtrack Don't laugh. It is fantastic!

Looking forward to hearing these. I'm not really a closed-back fan, but hopefully these will show up at a bay area meet sometime this year.

I wish I had slept through! I went to bed super early thinking I'd be fresh in the morning only to be left wide awake at 2:30AM after the quake woke me up.

Happy birthday, KD!

This popped up on Netflix. It is magnificent.

Curb Your Enthusiasm. Try a few episodes and see if it works for you.

Green Mars - Kim Stanley Robinson.

For what its worth, I had an older generation of the 16s and hated them because they are bass-boosted. If you like neutral I'd rule out the 16s.

Happy Boxing Day, everyone!

The Psychedelic Furs - Talk Talk Talk

Sorry for your loss, KD.

Ike and Tina - Live and Dangerous

^ Very fun read! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did, Doug!

RIP Ed Lee, the mayor of San Francisco. Died last night of a heart attack at 65 while he was out shopping for groceries. He was a civil rights lawyer before he became a career civil servant. Not everyone loved all his policies, but I think damn near the entire Bay Area thought Ed was a good guy. Very sad day.

The 2017 Game Awards VOD. They did a brilliant job with this. Deserving winners and amazing reveals throughout! https://youtu.be/Bs5Ml7_2wT0

Happy birthday!

I agree with everything Purk has been posting. That being said, some people really just don't like the 800/800S. Their loss. Different people like or are sensitive to different things. I don't think there is a "one size fits all" choice in this hobby. I personally think a well amped 800/800S stands toe to toe with just about anything that isn't a 007/009 on one of the mega KG amps.

Happy birthday, Tom!
