The Live Series: Songs of Hope The quality is a bit up-and-down, but the good cuts are real good. If the Boss had never been a musician he still would have made a hell of a writer.

New Dido. Still love that voice all these years later.

Happy birthday, Doug! Hope you and the cats had a fun one!

I don't use the front screen recommendations but I do use the "track radio" feature all the time. I've found a lot of stuff through track radio that I ended up really liking and would have never found otherwise. Listening to music via physical media? LOL

Keep in mind that a new mac pro to replace the trash can is rumored for june. Might make a hell of a lot more sense than the iMac Pro for most users.

Fuck the Trump "tax cut". That is all.

The movie is less than great, but nice watch!

I did the real ID a few months ago at Corte Madera. Just show up early. It won't save you entirely from the line but in a world of shitty alternatives it is one of the least shitty ways to go.
-
Just show up 20-30 minutes before they open. You will be the first through the door and first served.

Between Al and I we have some pretty good stuff. Perhaps a blind tasting is in order at some point? Maybe we each bring three bottles to taste or something like that.

^ It was a pleasure meeting you for lunch, my friend! Hearing about the trip was as much fun as seeing the pictures.

I was on a jury on a DUI case. The defense tried to raise doubts about the veracity of the conclusions the three big pieces of evidence, the field sobriety test, the breathalyzer, and the blood tests. As far as we could tell all procedures relating to the tests were followed, the tests were backed by sound science, and the results (which all agreed with each other) were thus very likely to valid. We convicted. The guy wasn't crazy drunk or anything, so it felt a little bad convicting someone only slightly over the limit. That being said, I had no reasonable doubt that the evidence showed he was over the limit at the time of being pulled over. I think the guy got a fair shake and it did give me a more positive perspective on the criminal justice system having been a part of the process. I hope if I am ever on the line a jury discusses and the evidence as a group the way that we did.

I was in that same room just a week ago. May the law gods have mercy on you and spare you getting placed on the jury as they have spared me! Being on a jury is interesting to do once, but something I never need to do again.
