  1. There's always mcmaster... http://www.mcmaster.com/#1922T27 Also some antistatic ones http://www.mcmaster.com/#1922T46 They have quite a large selection - try searching 'bubble bags' and 'anti static bags'
  2. How important is the forward voltage drop? I am guessing not too important since these are just rectifier diodes. STmicro makes an 8 amp one in TO220 packaging: http://www.mouser.co...vKRkUrKFUiXk%3d Fairchild makes this one: http://www.mouser.co...oEsfgWd1k1R8%3d 15 amp but forward voltage drop of 3.2V instead of 2.2V IXYS also makes one http://www.mouser.co...PcBtS1NgYoiU%3d with 2.75V forward drop
  3. That is a shitload of PC boards!
  4. Cool, here is the link to the thread then: http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/494097/tuitorial-how-to-make-a-wood-case-friendly-stax-socket-with-silver-plated-neutrik-contacts
  5. I was doing some googleing tonight and found a neat tutorial on HF showing how to fit one of the amphenol/wpi jacks into a neutrik xlr housing. Definitely looks better than the stock amphenol one, has a better mounting solution, and shouldn't be very expensive to make. Could be a decent alternative to teflon ones if no one ends up making some or they are too expensive. I'm not sure about what the rules are here for linking to HF, so you can find it by googleing "amphenol stax jack"
  6. I checked with them today. He said they no longer make the teflon ones and they use the Amphenol connectors now
  7. Wonder if that's the same Wiktor with the WTB ad for a T2 on HF
  8. Agreed. Thanks for the tip!
  9. This may be a stupid question, but I just received some cooper 76-S6S sockets from Allied and I can't for the life of me figure out how the retaining ring fits around the socket. Any pointers?
  10. Looks like it, thanks. Found a mistake in Lil Knights BOM I bleieve. Line 7 under the PSU is listed at 3k but the mouser part is 9.53k. I think mouser p/n 660-MF1/2CC3011F should work.
  11. Has anyone besides Livewire had trouble with the 100 mA rating for the 485 volt secondaries? I am wondering if the recommended transformer is beefy enough Also anyone have an alternative source to bdent for the 2SC4686A? They are nil stock until october
  12. Well I guess I wasn't really referring to either, just a group purchase of those heatsinks in general. I personally would be only interested in ones for the T2 as I am planning to do an onboard KGSSHV.
  13. Has there been any movement on a group buy for T2 style heatsinks? I remember seeing it mentioned in the KGSSHV thread, I think by El_Doug. If so I would definitely be interested
  14. Very nice! Where did the jack on the left come from?
  15. The Darkstar thread is rather amusing...
  16. If there are any T2 boardsets left I will take a set. Can't hurt to have it on hand...
  17. Is the leather headband the same as the old one just with a leather covering? If so you could easily stretch it out a bit without risking any damage
  18. I do like it when a company has a sense of humor. A nice break from the typical corporate obsession with political correctness.
  19. I would like 2 sets of the external heatsink KGSSHV board sets please. Thanks to Lil Knight for organizing this!
