  1. I'm going to lock it down at 12:00 noon est today Get your totals in
  2. I'm going to send these boards off for a final quote today unless anyone objects. Since I'm terrible with formulas in spreadsheets, can someone fix the math in the totals column?
  3. does it look ok to send to the board house?
  4. can somebody who is familiar with this board take a look at it http://gilmore.chem.northwestern.edu/boards/baseboardbal4.zip It just needs to be checked so I can send it off to be quoted and close up the group buy.
  5. sounds good... They appear to be an honest seller
  6. http://www.ebay.com/itm/322416989057?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Looks real in the pic and has a pic of a lockyz output from the curve tracer. Gets good feedback and all. Still no real way for me to tell from the pics. I was hoping to buy a set and ask one of you more experienced users to test them for me to see if they meet original specs.
  7. Yes, I believe the original idea was something like that with the Balanced\Unbalanced board in the middle with an attenuator.
  8. There were some changes to the switch board. Just double checking that we're ready to go. I'll close it up as soon as I get confirmation
  9. We'll wrap up the group buy early next week. I'll get a final quote on the boards and update the prices. You can pay after it closes, no need for it now since the prices will lower a bit

    When We Rise

Not that it means much, but you make me laugh all the time
  11. I found out that the switchboard needs a microprocessor (arduino etc) to control it. same signaling as the original attenuator board. The idea is no standing power on the relays. Could someone familiar with this setup take a look at the board just to double check it?
  12. cool... I can get the price down now I think
  13. You're in...
  14. We're try to get to 10 sets on the balanced input switch board. Anybody else want to jump in? We need 3 more
  15. It's per set... One board is one channel correct?
  16. I updated the cost of the switch board, that one we're close enough to make the cost reasonable. The GRLV split sets we're only at 5 total. Doesn't look like there's enough interest for that one to add it to the order unless the number goes up
  17. looks pretty slick... wonder what it sounds like
  18. I should have the pricing up for the source switch and the split GRLV today or tomorrow. I'll close out the group buy on Monday morning March 6th then send for the final quotes based on the numbers at that time.
  19. RIP "Hudson" Gotta watch some Big Love now
  20. I like the bin too, I was just worried about static. The bin would've been my first choice
  21. I think I'll go that route... Pretty good idea I found these with free prime shipping https://www.amazon.com/Antistatic-Bags-Resealable-10X14-Pack/dp/B000BSJCT6/ref=cm_wl_huc_item
  22. Yeah, that sounds good. Do I have to find something anti-static to store them in?
  23. So I am planning on ordering a bunch of the BC546 and BC556 for the Unbalanced\Balanced board and I'll need to measure, sort, label and store them. 1. can I store them in a regular plastic parts bin with dividers? 2. can I stick labels on the pins and fold the labels closed?
  24. yeah, the buffer boards are like $0.68 I'll price out the rest in a day or two
