That makes sense. I moved it down to 2, does everyone want to go to 1?

I had a great time. I know for next year I'll bring my own source like a high res DAP and a cable. I'll book a room next time and take the time to listen to things I'm considering buying. There was so much stuff I wanted to try I got overwhelmed and lost focus. The best thing I took away is that my own hand built DIY gear can hang with some of the high dollar stuff out there so big thanks to all hear at head-case for providing the designs, support and guidance. I did like the Auris Headonia. That's a sweet amp, but at 7500 euro it's a bit out of my price range. I listened to some $38,000 mono-block setup that sounded great but a Stax SR-L500 and a Stax amp that I did not remember the model number of sounded just as good to my ears being fed by a laptop.

good question... I have one set left over from the last one that's reserved for steef. I think I may have one or two extra as well. If anyone wants a set let me know

I'd agree with that, adjusted. The Dynalo Mini also adjusted to 2oz. Thanks to whoever cleaned up the columns. The board house can work with the THAT340 adapters so those are a go. I'll move the links to the board files onto the 1st post so everyone can see what is being ordered. Also, I feel like I forgot one board that someone wanted. Does the list look complete?
-
350 should work, I'll look again
-
I'll comb through that site tonight. At first glance the model I saw that comes in 400 mm wide doesn't have enough depth for me
-
I think I'm moving on from Par-Metal. I can't get them on the phone any more and email response is spoty. Has anyone found a chassis supplier on Ebay that can sell something better? I'm looking for boxes that are 16" wide x 12 - 16" deep by 4" high and where I can have front and rear panels milled by FPE

parking's all set... Spot Hero is dope

review: cardas sennheiser VS zu mobius (part one)
sbelyo replied to tiberian's topic in Audio Accessories
Jeez... was just about to buy that Cardas cable -
I'm in for Sunday, can I bring my son?

As far as the THAT340 adapter PCB's go, I'm checking to see if the board house can deal with boards that small. If not, I was thinking that we could do one board with several adapters on it then have a V score that would separate them. What do you all think?
-
Agreed... I'll change the title to include the PSU with the set
-
Thanks, couldn't find it

Are the gerbers posted for the SC3381/SA1349 devices ?
-
Sorry Tinkerer... I added it now, as well as the THAT340 adapter PCBs.
-
I will add some boards in the next day or that people are requesting, then leave it open for 4 weeks or so. I added the TKD 4CP2500 to the sheet as well
-
cool... I should be able to get them all tightly matched then.
-
The majority of what I'm seeing is 315 hFE after measuring 34 devices. Is 315 good enough?
-
Many many thanks... I'm thinking the 2 pot board would be fine unless you all want the alps support. I shall clean up the initial post and add the boards we're considering in there
-
one is neg and the other pos? I'll label this as a set then correct?
-
here's the prices on the TKD 2500 CP 2500- 10K. @ $46 2CP 2500 10K. @ $60 3CP 2500 10K. @ $76 4CP 2500 10 K @ $94

Got it... Is an hFE of 300 good enough for this circuit?
-
the transistor tester measures hFE and Vf. What's are acceptable values for this circuit? How closely should I match the devices?
-
Funny you ask that... We can definitely add all those boards. I definitely want some of those rectifier boards myself. I was going to ask for help with the following: on the GRLV, I noticed there was an updated board. Has anyone double checked it, is it safe to produce? What is the current GRHV board? I know the tubed bal/unbal board has it's own that ranges from 100 to 250V so I'm guessing there's another. A fat one was mentioned so I wasn't sure if that was what everyone is looking for. I'll include the 100-250V board with the tubed unbal/bal board as a set if that works for everyone. Also, the circlotron power supply was requested so that would be a third PSU board. Please let me know if I'm correct on all of this

Sure, I added the TKD 4CP-601 10K to the sheet. I'll add the 2 and 4 channel versions of the CP2500 once I get a price. Does anyone want the 2 channel version of the cp601? Also, on the motorized 2 or 4 channel or both?
