I posted the Unbal/Bal Tube input board in the first post and the dynalo mini board just now. Please have a look at all of them to make sure they're ok. I'll send them off for quote tomorrow night if nobody sees any issues
-
Yep, just got it now. Blue on the boards, thicker on the adapters... got it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Could somebody add a few lines to the bottom of the list just in case others want to join in? I'd do it but I'll screw up the formula. For the THAT340 adapters it will be 2 each of the 4 variants that are mentioned above. I'm thinking 1 oz pour and 1.2 mm thick on the adapters, anyone see a problem with that? I have all the boards now and will send them off for a quote tonight assuming I can get done with work at a decent hour. I'm thinking green in color with matte finish and gold. Or did everyone want the blue like last time?

I attached all the boards except for the unbal to bal tube board. Everyone wants the bottom mount correct? I think I'm missing the dynalo mini TKD as well. Can everyone check to see if I missed anything else or if I don't have the right board. Dr. Gilmore, can you post that bottom mount tube input board? Thanks

oh yes... take my mom 20 minutes to describe what she sees on the screen. I use the PIBKAC error Problem Is Between Keyboard And Chair -
Thanks Chris I'd say we'll keep it open for the next two weeks or so. I'm planning on sending the files for a quote next week so after I receive them back I'll update the prices. I figure we'll wait a week after that and close it up what abbreviation did you need help with? As far as costs, the boards will be relatively cheap. It's hard to say as far as total costs go it's hard to say. For my dynahi as an example I'd say I have around $1000 usd in it so a balanced CFA is going to be around there I think. A dynalo mini with a case from the other group buy would probably run you $350. Maybe others can comment on their costs

So I need to vent/laugh... I make my living in IT support for a large corporation and you would think that should rub off a bit on my parents. Nope! My stepdad is 78 and hasn't used a computer in 10 years and smart phones, forget about it. He decides to buy an Ipad and enlists the help of some guy at a bar (not me). What shows up is a fully loaded Ipad pro ($1000 +). Not bad so far right... He obviously wants to set it up right away (enter me). I'm walking him through the process and we get to the point where he needs the wifi info. He doesn't know the router name, asks my mom and she's unsure. I know what they usually choose for names and can see the router in the list. Now, for the password my mom grabs this piece of paper with a jumbled list of passwords (this list looks like its a lost Zodiac letter with red and brown stains on it). She then claims she remembers it only to realize after an hour that it's the password to the security camera system. My stepdad then asks well WTF is the password then? She screams at the top of her lungs what she can remember. This turned out to the the router name. Long story short I eventually remembered what I made the password out to be and it worked. That was three hours of my life I'll never get back. I have more, like trying to help them understand that apple ID's, email, and the passcode for an IOS device are not all the same thing nor will one password work for another. The other day Dad was looking up baseball stats on the ipad, Mom walks by and asks watchya looking at? He replies baseball stats. She asks so you're on the internet? He replies, no I have no idea what the internet is. Or my personal favorite, he bought ticket from stubhub. The PDF of the ticket says "printed tickets will not be accepted". He won't take mine or the ticket's word that he doesn't need them. He drives all the way to best buy and has someone there print the ticket out for him. I can go on and on

my pleasure... Hoping to offer several options with the that340 adapter boards

The cases are black right?
-
Sorry Pars... We keep adding boards. I thinking we'll keep it open for another 3 weeks or so. I'll post in that thread in a few
-
I’ve got your SS set put aside. I have to look at the Gerbers tonight to see if it’s one board per channel for the tube Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm finishing my BIII recase with reflektor d and BiB psu's. When complete I'll build a soekris and see what happens

Get the sennheiser hd650 used Should be around $350 usd on eBay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

would love to test this vs a TPA Buffalo III or pro. I listened to the yggdrasil at canjam and it didn't wow me but can't vouch for source material and the headphones were Audeze LCD-3 I think then switched to some Mr speakers model. I think the amp was the ragnarok
-
Good lord that’s enough to build another amp Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That’s a good deal... make sure to remove the carbon from your name in the sheet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
what were the tubes for that one?
-
I can add them to the sheet. Are parts easy to be found for the KGBH? I always wanted to build that

I believe that's the config but I will confirm with Kevin. For same side vs megtron I vote same side... Feel free to cast your vote and we'll go with the majority. Can we setup a poll in this thread? Or is that not possible?
