just noticed that my post last night didn't get through, maybe the website was interrupted? Want reiterate my thanks to Andy (blubliss) for putting up great effort for this group buy. The delay from STAX was a bit long but the whole process and end result is very positive. now we have a new pinnacle of headphone world that we can test, debate, mod, .......

hmm.... let's find some excuse to empty that bottle! The main reason I stayed away from STAX is the annoying colored sound of 007. Here 009 is dead neutral, bass is phenomenal, sweet and solid mid, beautiful highs ( I didn't noticed ANY hint of hot treble like Spritzer reported, maybe he got a lemon ? ), Just what I'm looking for. After a causal comparison, I rank it the No.1 headphone of the world as of today!

I am extremely happy with my KGSS. not sure will venture into tube world with BHSE. In any case, I don't anticipate anything better than these two to drive 009. Salute to Dr. Gilmore!

I tried to refrain myself to respond your insult. I have an emergency at work and worked until 11:30pm today and only glanced this thread. I was not going for PJ but just asking if this is a better option that this group buy want to go with. If people here, after thorough research, decided that this 4500 deal is better overall, I will be more than happy to join. Just that I don't have time to compare the deals.

$4171 shipped is much better than $4500 + shipping. Anybody actually want to go with PriceJapan ? ....
