You can get a second VHP2, and connect two VHP2's to the VDA2 if you want the balanced experience. I haven't tried it but I am aware of at least one person who did do it.

When my SP amp first arrived, the second input was dead, but I had read about delays so I didn't send it back. bhjazz was kind enough to open it up, fix the issue and clean up the innards. I think he took some pics but I don't have them. In any case, it's too bad about what's going on with SP.

a pair of new Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 speakers ($250 shipped) for some low volume nearfield listening in my office... I read a lot of good things about them so I'm excited to see how they sound paired with my Arcam A65 integrated. The Diamond 9.1 is certainly more wallet friendly than the Harbeth P3ES2 I tried to buy on A'gon a week ago. And for some night time bedside reading, a Mighty Bright XtraFlex 2 reading light

Yesterday, I picked up an Arcam A65 Plus on Audiogon from a local seller. Mine is black. I was actually looking for a phono since I picked up another Pioneer PL-12D turntable last week for my office rig. I was looking to spend about $150 on a phono, but this integrated was only $285 so why not, I said to myself (as I approach 40, I find myself talking to myself a lot lately... I just hope I don't start referring to myself in the third person). I was tempted by grawk's NAD, but since I have an Arcam CD73, this matches better . Now that I can power speakers, I may get some near field monitors in the future for my office. Currently, I have my GLite connected to the tape out on the A65. I'm very pleased with the sound.

Amazing what delegating work can do, isn't it? I've been buried in work for the last six months and spent the whole of July on a globetrotting business trip. I'm just starting to get back to all things headphones after being away for most of the year. Anyone care for a $20 15 minute camel ride? No, I'm not a terrorist.

Congrats to all the daddies on this board. My two boys are turning 8 and 5 very soon.

I am using these for my monitor speakers, and the stands are very stable and well made. They are sitting on my desk. The speaker platform is supported by two pieces of wood. I got the black ones.
