  1. Drink your great Stellenbosch wine now, wait til the UK move to drink the Whiskey. I would volunteer to ship some booze to you based on a forward currency option to be closed once you migrate to the UK but I would guess the postage cost would negate the currency exchange arbitrage benefit. Currency devaluation sucks when you are on the wrong side of the trade.
  2. Happy Birthday Ryan!
  3. To use a car analogy, I can see modifying a Chevy Camaro but why mod a Mercedes SLS? Really?
  4. Yes Fogo de Chao is a chain and the one in BH is awesome!
  5. This /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ for CC companies it is the law of numbers. Remember how they make their money, the 2-2.5% they rape the merchants for sending payments through their system. Fraud is just the cost of doing business, prevention of fraud costs too much and is therefore not justified.
  6. Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I suspect you know what I am about to post already but just in case I recommend you consider the following: - Contact the three major credit reporting companies, TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian to request a fraud alert be placed on your account. The alert is good for 90 days and I recommend you keep renewing the alert every quarter for the next one to two years. The fraud alert will prevent anyone from opening a account with your SS#. -By placing your fraud alert you are entitled to receive one free credit report, review it for any fishy credit inquiries. Where there is one breach there may be others. -Consider subscribing to a credit monitoring service such as Lifelock or Identity Force. - Check with the IRS to make sure there are no tax liens or other nasty tax stuff brewing. -Consider purchasing a cross cut paper shredder. Good luck Jon but as Dusty said this may take a lot longer to resolve than you could ever imagine.
  7. Ouch! I hope the pain has subsided by now. Yes, with road biking crashes are occasional as opposed to mountain biking where crashes are a regular occurrence, at least on these technical trails.
  8. Ours does a very good job drying everything very well. I always pre-wash and rinse the dishes so the filter is always clean. No smell what so ever. We do a load of dishes every day and in between I leave the door propped open about one inch to help dry out the interior. All these may or may not be the reason there is no odor problem for us.
  9. /\ /\ /\ /\ This!
  10. Late but just in case, Bosch. Ours is very quiet and does an excellent job. Installation is straightforward as long as you can speak a little German.
  11. Happy Birthday Nate! I am building you some earphones and cables as a present but they are taking a little longer than I had planned.
  12. I just saw this, damn! RIP Paco, you make beautiful music.
  13. Happy Birthday! .
  14. Well I am sure I am targeted, I even have the neatly dressed little old Watchtower ladies ringing my doorbell every Saturday morning.
  15. Is it true that there is a SSL OSX/iOS security flaw identified on Friday?
  16. Welcome to my world. Happy Birthday Dan, you are a great father to spend your day shuttling you kids around. Enjoy the weekend.
  17. Happy Birthday!
  18. BBQ ribs ala the Donner Party recipe with a spice rub and a pulled leg ,pork. Mikey is that taco place in Phoenix AZ?
  19. Happy Birthday Al!
  20. Chicken curry tweaked my way and lots of beer. I have yet to find a white wine that goes with curry...or sushi for that matter.
  21. Well yeah, there's that too. Bet you people in the Midwest never think twice about walking outside at night barefoot.
  22. We have 80 degree weather + earthquakes + huge brush fires. You have freezing temps with no earthquakes and your neighborhood never resembles Hades. I think that is a push.
  23. Congratulations! Arriving at a point where you see no reason to upgrade is a very good thing. Intuitively I would expect all your components to provide a spectacular audio experience and reading your post just confirms my assumption. Enjoy!
  24. Obviously a scam since the legit tech support never make calls only takes calls from irate consumers with computers frozen because of the newest Windows update. Amazing how many people would fall for that. Did you play along to see if they were trying to get you to download a Trojan? Maybe ask them to email you a picture of themselves to prove they are the "real Windows Technical Department".
