  1. Take a lot of deodorant and many changes of clothes. Orlando in July is like 98% humidity and a fair amount of mesquitos. Enjoy wishing you a safe journey.
  2. A luch time detour. XRCD of Chet Atkins in Hollywood.............Nice high beams. I will buy any CD with Greensleves and Jitterbug Waltz on it.
  3. You need to add a bullet for the white space---sharks.
  4. The home repair/hardware shop will be your second home. Nails, glue, screws and little plumbing thingys will mean regular trips to the store. Try to stay away from the "upgrades" department those will kill ya. I have upgraded light swithces, faucets, faucet handles, outside faucets and handles, garden hoses silly stuff you never knew existed but now have to have.
  5. It depends on how oxidized your connectors are. I tried it on some mildly oxidized rcas and noticed no difference. With highly oxidized RCAs maybe maybe not I tend not to let my connectors get that far. On speaker spades I noticed no difference but I tighten the heck out of the jacks so maybe that nullified the damage caused by the oxidation. Deoxit does make the connections look good though.
  6. Damn Chris, do you have any organs left to sell after all that?
  7. Tyll, will there be a team hawaiian shirt this time? My wife just bought me a new one I will save for your meet.
  8. Thanks all. I feel a lot of love in this forum..... the Pinot helps too.
  9. X2. Killing time waiting for my meeting with J.P. Morgan.
  10. Thank you all for the kind words. Cheers!
  11. Awesome pictures and you really do have quite a good eye. Did you hit East Berlin the same day you hit the more modern part of the west? Quite a difference ehh? Would you post some pictures of the eastern side so some of the fellow HCasers can see the contrast? When I visited there I was just blown away by the depressing nature of East Berlin's buildings. One moment you are in a modern vibrant European city, walk a hundred meters you feel entirely different. I just noticed, it appears that in the fifth picture you are in the "tower" facing East Berlin, yes? Nice shot.
  12. Hai Dustysan. I was talking about a stereo version it sounded sweet to me.
  13. I believe there is a remastered Capital Records version of KOB that adjusted for the original off speed master tape. I was fortunate to hear this version on a Clear Audio Statement turntable and talk about revelation, wow! I have been searching for this vinyl ever since.
  14. Tyll, you did an awesome job last year, all the speaker geeks were really impressed. It just goes to show you that the LA Audio Society dosen't get very good speakers coming to the meetings. I will be there.
  15. Oh I hate you....(me jealous) I have wanted one for a looooooooog time.
  16. Though I wasn't drunk, I tried some mediocre wine last night and I feel kind of out of it. More so than usual. I know "we didn't notice" needn't be said. Oh welcome and happy birthday.
  17. If by chance she was really a psych intern she should call him and gather reaearch for what would be an awesome case study. If not, I agree with Boomana and she should change her telephone number and move to a cloistered convent for two years.
  18. I see my old office building.
  19. Happy Birthday Justin, you da man. Keep those creative juices flowing. Thanks for a wonderful time with my GL, I look forward to more great designs.
  20. Those are Government Agencies and Government Agencies don't pay didly. He already has a job, he dosen't need another (boring Government Agency) job. If you go to work fo the IRS, you will have to sell all your gear to pay for food. Other than that, I agree with everything everyone has said already.
  21. First off, with your background in branch banking and your interest in numbers I would recommend that you consider a lateral move to the Finance department of the bank's headquarters, a logical transition assuming you still like the banking environment. Another avenue to consider would be possibly returning to school for your MBA in Finance. Headquarter's fianance groups love to staff themselves with MBAs. I transitioned from clinical psychology degree in Southern California to an MBA working for Citicorp in Manhattan, go figure. As they say in Germany, alles moglich. Good luck to you I hope things go your way. I am leaving the office for a meeting all day, if you have further questions feel free to pm me. Greg
  22. Showed the email to my wife........she took away my music for the week. I am on time out until further notice.
  23. Wrong again, red screws and add some LEDs man!
