  1. Oh Nooooooo! Happy Birthday Beeeeelllllleeeee!
  2. Is it Belgian?
  3. Ummmmmm! I sure am enjoying your birthday toast. Cheers! Ah yes, I remember those Meadowlands games in the dead of winter concrete and snow go real well together.
  4. Well that's good to know. Thanks for all the responses and thank you Nate for the assistance.
  5. Happy Birthday Vincent! I will quaf a nice ice wine in your honor.
  6. Thanks for all the responses. The Belden 19364 bulk cable is pretty reasonable I just wasn't sure if the quality was decent enough, evidently you all think it is so that may be the direction I will go.
  7. Thanks Nate, I'll take you up on that offer to piggyback on your next Take Five order. I have purchased RCAs and IC cable from Take Five in the past with great results; the additional discount would help because I need three 2 meter power cords and all those Marinco IEC and plugs will add up.
  8. Well as a natural progression in this hobby, I find myself with more gear than power cords. In the past I have built power cords with 12 GA wire from Ram Electronics and VH Audio but the ones I have built are too damn stiff. All of my gear sits fairly close to the wall so I need a flexible medium weight cable for my power cord builds. I looked at the bulk cable offered at Take Five and Sonic Craft but they are a little on the expensive side and too heavy to stay properly seated in the IEC. Any recommendations for bulk cable would be appreciated.
  9. The title says it all. Thank you for your many sacrifices and for your service to your country.
  10. Two road bike (clincher) tires and tubes. These tires are upper middle tier Continentals not the ubber racing light weight types yet they cost more than tires I bought for my car when I was in College.
  11. Perhaps the person who assembled the one I am enjoying now may be available. Keep watching this forum for more details I would guess.
  12. I have bought a few cds worth of tracks from them and the quality is pretty good. I have also downloaded Music Giants and Linn selections which have a lot more jazz and music not readily available around here.
  13. A 1:100 scale model of the Cathedral of Nortre Dame-
  14. Araujo Cab and Velvet Glove Shiraz. Shall be real nice in about four to five years.
  15. Definitely a winner for the cost. Exactly how good time will tell over the next few days.
  16. :prettyprincess: An easy fix. Basically it was one of the nuts from the screw that holds the XLR cup to the chassis. I had the same issue with my Audio Aero cdp when it arrived, must be a world wide XLR nut conspiracy. Time for listening.
  17. Yes it appears to be a Pars Metals chassis and it would be a pretty simple procedure for me this evening. I was just uncomfortable in opening up someone elses property and needed you guys to say it's OK. Fingers crossed it is not something major, you should see the box.
  18. I received the Buffalo today but the post office mangled the box pretty badly. I will go out this week and pick up two boxes to double box this puppy for you guys next in line. There is one problem though, something is loose in the case and I can see and hear it rattling around inside. It appears to be a small nut but I won't know until I open the case. Since Naaman is offline do you guys think it would be OK to take a look to ensure nothing major is wrong? It would not be a good idea to fire this up knowing something is loose rattling around inside. I feel awkward because this is not my unit and there is no way to reach Naaman for permission first. Obviously if it is something major I will repack the Buffalo and ship it to Naaman in CO.
  19. X2, wishing your friend a speedy recovery. Like 909 says probaly the best medicine for your friend is to have as many friends try to take time to stop by and visit him as often as possible.
  20. Turley Syrah and Zinfandel.
  21. Very nice. Lewis Vineyard Syrah MollyDooker Syrah
  22. Yeah, but what do you use to carve the turkey?

    Wet Shaving

Awesome! I used that reference last week regarding a(hole) analyst I dislike and no one knew what I was talking about. Must be my Southern California accent or sumthin'.
