Cheering on the people we know in Paris. On the left, our friend and Lance's former coach. The gold medal fencer on the right is "Greg" Cheung. Most importantly, both men like my tri-tip BBQ and 12-hour short rib tacos. Little known Olympic fact...

Vivian, the Hong Kong Epee fencer and our friend's athlete takes gold. It's a pretty awesome feat since the French fencer is very talented.

Happy Birthday Antonio!

Greyhamer's innuendo skills are not to be trifled with.

Tomorrow starts fencing and we have a personal link to many coaches and fencers. Our friend and Lance's former coach is there with the Hong Kong team and another friend is the Italian team coach. We know a few Olympians from Italy, France Hungary and Hong Kong and will be cheering them on. In the olden days, the coaches had been over for BBQs and to polish off a few cases of our wine while the fencers seemed to enjoy the tri tip and 11-hour braised short rib tacos. Great memories...

Yeah, me too, even when I was training for triathlons. Impressive stats!

Nothing more disturbing than sitting in one's back yard sipping a nice Grand Cru, enjoying the scenery then having an intruder slither uncomfortably close by. It kind of ruins the vibe... I hope this does the trick tomorrow.

If this were still an audio forum, members would post/claim that rubbing the putty on their tubes made them sound richer and more real.

"Microclimate" is now a very Napaish wine term.

I did a couple of mountain bike rides north of Phoenix in July back in the day. It was so hot even the coyotes just watched and laughed at our hubris.

Made final preparations for Thursday's trip to Spokane for Lance's graduation. Just found out that Lance was accepted to the Cedars Sinai EMT program starting this summer. Lance also mountain bike rides and is a rock climber so for you HCers traveling out here to mountain bike Lance will be qualified to stitch you up, apply a tourniquet to your stumps or identify what is left of you after a mountain lion has you for lunch. Cheers!

Keeping a sex slave seems to require more work than one would think. This is why I keep wine in my dungeon.
