  1. Dinny, ignore everyone. Buy a ULN-2 and JH-13s, trust me, I can be trusted really, no really............
  2. That is all I have left to hopelook forward for.
  3. I don't know about that. Your purchase will eat into you wine budget and that is not good for the yin and the yang.
  4. What are you waiting for? It's been what a month since your last hit/purchase. I'll buy mine when you buy yours.................
  5. Dude, you are becomming domestic.
  6. WTF! Trojans are done.....
  7. Indeed..............
  8. Confirmed my November 17th appointment with the Rockstar audiologist. I see JH Pro13s in my future...
  9. Pfttt, you don't need those, you need these-
  10. Larva generally start out small so for it to become king sized it would have to live in that candy bar for quite some time. Why didn't it molt? Perhaps you meant this-
  11. Actually it is quite simple as long as you live by the rule of reciprocity. "One for me, one for the wife/significant other" Restraint is waaayy overhyped really.
  12. Well maybe I wasn't there when the recording sessions were first recorded but in my limited experience, I know what an upright bass should sound like when it is a live recording and the difference between a Bosendorfer, and a Yamaha. So if the piano in the recording sounds like a real concert grand rather than an upright, the reproduction is good for me. It may be the mike placement, the recording engineer or the playback equipment responsible for the experience, I can't vary the former but I can maximize the synergy of the latter to make me happy.
  13. In a pinch, any guitar store will have those TRS>XLR or TRS>RCA.
  14. Slippery slope. So when ya gettin' the Metric Halo ULN2?
  15. I live in Ventura County, we don't have toxic waste out here, just toxic music.
  16. I understand what you are saying but number 2 looks just like my neighborhood so to me that is the most natural because that is what I see every day I am out and about. Perhaps then what seems the most familiar is what one subconsciously seems to prefer.
  17. I object! Sorry, Dinny had me in lawyer mode. Actually, I like number two and think it is the most realistic representation. The foreground stands out and seems to add depth to the scene. I also see Satan in the background waving a pair of Grados at me............
  18. I SERIOUSLY doubt the Fostex's will suck. Their 166 little brothers sound great but you should let them run for quite a while to break in. I hated the sound of mine for the first 50-100 hours but then we grew to love each other.
  19. Here is hoping your luck changes real soon and glad you and the other party are OK.
  20. Larry, Colorado isn't exactly jungle territory you know. Planning a trip to Machu Picchu?
  21. I'm so old, we did macro economic forecasting projects in graduate school with punch cards. My wife did the same thing in her MBA program with their own pcs. Talk about generation gap. You young whippersnappers..............
  22. Yet, no if you will............
  23. Happy birthday youngun.
  24. So with 4gb it's pr0n and music nothing else? Ok, I can live with that. Oh, and what Coltrane did you buy?
