Good luck Duggeh, I have complete faith that you will be hugely successful in whatever you pursue. Please reserve a spot for me in one of the first tours when you open your own brewery.

I want to copy some ALAC and AIFF files from a Mac OS external HD onto a NTFS HD which I will connect to my MS desktop/iTunes at the office. When I tried to move Aiff files from the Mac HD to the NTFS HD via my Mac mini, I couldn't seem to be able to transfer any files. I tried to drag and drop but it wouldn't work. Do I need use my MS desktop as the interface to move the files from the Mac HD to the NTFS HD? I did a Apple search for this transfer problem but couldn't resolve this issue.

Happy Birthday Lily! Nate, you can always rest next weekend, certainly not this afternoon.

Well if your office is too neat the CFO might think you have too much free time on your hand.

I would be up for any Euro meet anywhere be it Spain, Stuttgart, Edinburgh or even Amsterdam, I just need to get started fixing this minor glitch I have with my passport and Interpol. Just a silly misunderstanding, but it will take some time and money to the right people to sort out. No problem I expect.

Yep, what I could find was in my user docs/appsettings, with a vu folder. I guess it is spyware doctor and I will keep my fingers crossed. Thanks Tony and Jim. -

Ok, well I am pretty sure I have the AV malware on the home pc since somewhere in one of the malware tools I saw a detection note mentioning a "AV." root infection or something. Well initially I tried Spybot and MalwareBytes which seemed to have caught some bits but did not fully clean up the troubling malware. I tried reboot clean, reboot clean three or four times but I am still getting the annoying ie redirects. I then tried Avira and Spyware Doctor which claim that they "found harmful malware" but require me to purchase their products to clean out the malware. I am happy to do this if I am sure they will work, but since the Malwarebytes program does not seem to be able to fully handle this nasty bit of malware I am a little hesitant to purchase. As of last night I am having difficulty doing Google searches, once I initiate the Google search the system momentarily freezes then returns to the Google prompt. So, am I hosed? Should I purchase one of the programs and risk buying a software package that will solve a problem I don't currently have? Punt? A system reinstall is not an option at this point since I seem to have misplaced the XP, MS Office and driver CDs -
Great pics! That FLW house looks especially inspiring.

Nice write up John, lookin forward to continued evaluations. Ok, I saw this VPI this weekend, even though a supposed twenty year old model appears to be in pristeen condition. The TT is a VPI model HW 19 Mark 3 with a solid Oak base, Rega RB-300 Arm and an unknown Grado "wood" cart and the tonearm has been rewired with Cardas rca connectors. I did a very quick search for comments on this TT and other than there are some platter, chassis and motor isolation upgrades available on Elusive Disc for up to $1K depending on how far you go, I could not find much else on owners satisfaction with this model. The seller is asking $1,495 so I am interested if anyone here has had any first hand experience with this particular VPI model or comments about the Rega tonearm. Also I was thinking of picking up these 200 gram Blue Note albums --- Horace Silver Horace Silver Quintet & Trio, Horace Silver Horace Scope, Silver, Horace And The Jazz Messengers and this CLARK, SONNY Cool Struttin' MONO - 200 gram Are these albums worth a shot?

Just bought a mixed case of some Paul Hobbs Cabernet and a new project Cabernet by Heidi Barrett. Should be some good tasting wine in a few years.
