  1. Dude, you don't mess around!
  2. Thanks for the kind words everyone. I plan to knock off work early today and spend the afternoon BBQing with my two boys, slow roast BBQ FTW! Mary and Emily are spending the week at a service camp helping out with a food kitchen, fixing up painting and repairing homes for the elderly, so as far as I am concerned having my family helping others is the best BD gift I could ask for. Cheers to all you fine folks!
  3. I asked if they could do fades or swirls and was told they couldn't. Some day they might and that would look cool and cheaper than graphics hopefully.
  4. If it is true I will be getting one in January. I hate my Crackberry Storm, it's like have a frozen icepick lobotomy performed by a ogre with palsy every time I try to send an email or log onto HC.
  5. He probably does not need to buy food, he just kidnaps people and when their family fails to come up with the ransom he just eats them.
  6. Don't you get it? His website is a parody of the internet, the audiophile community, six m****, and stereopile (spelling is correct). Very entertaining, witty and somewhat humorous. Yeah he is seeking attention but his attention whoring efforts are far more entertaining than jama-toes and isospods and I really doubt he takes himself seriously.
  7. Color? Pics are mandatory or we remotely disconnect the AC in your crib.
  8. He is either shear genius or sheer madness. I vote for making him head of CanJam Europe, it would be a audio Alice Through the Looking Glass experience and unmatched by anything this side of Fellini Satyricon. Oh to be able to take a audio acid trip without the acid.
  9. Bread and beer, breakfast of champions....................
  10. Good luck Doug, and if things fall into place Mary and I will be visiting you in 30 months whether you want us or not. I owe Mary a tour de Europe and thirty months from now fits my budget. Good luck and I hope things fall into place for you. A December 2012 HC cross pond meet seems to be a good idea, speaking for myself of course.
  11. Wher's the beer tapper on that thing?
  12. Well just for you mind you, I am willing to autograph them with a nice message. Actually I am flattered you ordered two from my website. On second thought, they weren't the ones with the midget wrestlers and the latex batman costume right?
  13. Good luck!
  14. Scott Birthday Happy!
  15. Well John has eclectic musical leanings so perhaps...........................
  16. Colin, obviously you have never attended one of my family holiday get togethers. DBT got nothing on moi......
  17. From what I recall years ago, a Drano enema or tasering would easily beat an afternoon of that /\ /\ /\
  18. This isn't the same malware as the AV ? I never saw the antivirus soft scan popup I just had ie browser redirects start happening with no warning or email attachments.
  19. Smart move! Congrats.
  20. Wow, nice score Pete!
  21. So you quit moderating at H-Fi huh?

  23. Perhaps any of these- MA Recordings The three CDs on the first page are both sonically well done and a neat introduction of some of the music out there in the world. I have tried to coerce Todd Garfinkle to attend some of the CanJam and Head Case meets, one day I will succeed. He does high rez DLs and DVDs if you ever want to go that route in the future *cough-(JH16/3A)-cough*.
  24. Thanks for the update John, perhaps the Denon DL-S1 is the most likely candidate for my DP 59L. Makes sense to start there anyway and stop all this never ending shopping.
  25. Blue Note RVG edition, The Amazing Bud Powell Volume Three- Bud! I bought this cd to evaluate and see if the Classic Records 200G mono is worth buying and trying.
