Well my good fortune with anything electrical has continued unabated with my office computer choosing to sleep with the fishes on Wednesday morning. I am pretty sure it was the motherboard that died and not the hard drives (fingers crossed). There are a couple of important files I had not gotten to backing up yet on the old computer which I need access to at some point in the next few weeks. I pulled both the hard drives out of the dead computer and was preparing to download all the files today using my Thermaltake sata docking station when I discovered to my horror that the HDs are not sata but most probably ide HDs and the Thermaltake model I have only supports sata.
Will this Eagle Consus HD enclosure allow me to dock my ide HDs, and copy the files off the old ide HDs to my new HD?
Eagle Consus T-Series ET-CSTSIU2-BK 3.5 Inch USB 2.0 External Serial ATA SATA & IDE Hard Drive Combo Enclosure (Retail, Black)
What say ye? Thanks for your time.
Made a round trip visit to Arizona to close the door on another chapter. Had a very interesting lunch with some Albanian and Romanian small business owners. Nicolae Ceauşescu's government was evidently much more brutal than I had thought, even more brutal than the polish government. Fascinating stories about the Romanian secret police and all.
Oh, and the TSA hates the LaRocco PRII paired with JH13s.
Yep, the WLW is a 2010 and is mighty tasty. I am looking forward to snagging some Saz 18 at some point and really exploring what this is all about, but so far so very good.
Duggeh, what does the Quad 606 taste like?
I already have the WLW so I picked up the Stagg and Eagle Rare 17 today along with some Rocky Patel Connecticuts. On the hunt for a Handy and a Sazerac 18, I need to experience this Rye thingy you guys are talking about.
Sorry Shelly, they would only sell me one GTS. Nice snag Mike, that is one serious smoker!
It is either their marketing strategy or their convoluted vision of a successful marketing strategy. Nonetheless I now have my foot in the door and will be able to decide if the 93SE is worth it if they ever decide to try that avenue. Oh, and I jumped on the offer right away because I wanted to get one with a low serial number because everyone knows that the ones with the low serial numbers sound mo' betta. If you don't believe me just ask Justin.
Roundtrip ticket to Arizona, a bike jersey, bib biking shorts, new Specialized bike computer to replace the one that just gave up the ghost and a pair of red walled Michelin road tires.
Oh, and this=
OPPO BDP-93 Blu-ray Disc Player with SACD & DVD-Audio.
If it truly smells like a dead animal I doubt that it is mildew or a fungus. Is the smell localized in the car? Try checking under the seats, especially the rear ones. Is the smell stronger when the engine/vents are running? Not to be a smart ass or anything but do you know the difference smell-wise between a dead animal or rotten fruit? They both smell bad but rotten carcass smells mustierishly.
We once had a squirrel sneak up into the engine compartment of our Volvo and die there creating a major mess. We had to have the car detailed and the engine steam cleaned to make it serviceable. For that reason I will never buy a Volvo again, they are suicidal squirrel magnets for sure.
As soon as I figure out what you just posted, I think I will get excited. By chance do you have that eight track player? Analog is way better than digital you know.
