  7. Spent the day, and whole weekend for that matter doing the family Christmas version of Rubik's cube. I had to set up our two Christmas trees and figure out how to hook up all the lights and make them all work since some connectors on the tree can only handle two plugs and each tree holds about a dozen zillion lights. Then spent three hours crawling around the attic pulling down ornaments and decorations. I feel like a West Virginia coal miner on ludes, my neck back and shoulders ache like hell. I need a Gentleman Jack and a cigar.
  8. Happy Happy Birthday!
  9. Nate, good thing you don't have ADD.
  10. X2 Before I can hook up the 93 I need to hire three guys to cart away our armoire that is sitting where our new custom t cabinet will sit, have said guys move the new cabinet into its location in the family room then buy the new TV to go on the new cabinet. I just ordered the special glass fronts for the doors on the cabinet and I must say they are pretty bitchin lookin'.
  11. Very sad. I remember watching him play when I was a kid living in Chi town, RIP Ron.

    Blu-spec CD

I have a couple of them, they sound really good but it is hard to tell if they are really that much better than plain RB versions if I could even find any. One in particular that I have does come in a two pack with one in Blue spec and one in RB, the music is something I am unfamiliar with and quite frankly I haven't had the time to sit down and really compare.

  20. Dinny, that is one of my favorite Jarrett albums! Very melodic and one of the rare ones where he doesn't seem to be under the influence of LSD at the time.
  21. A new AMD quad core computer, a ide docking cable, a usb powered hub because the new computer only has five usb ports (or whatever they are called), and a case of very old wine. Somehow in my world all these purchases are related and make sense.
