  1. Good luck Bryan and Jacob, interviews are stressful. That's all the wisdom I have to share this week.
  2. Signorello Merlot. I have a new found appreciation for California Merlots.
  3. Seasmoke Southing, 2007 was a very good year. Very tasty, I might just drink the whole bottle myself.
  4. Mike, when you beer can cook the chicken, what tmeperature and for how long? Do you sprinkle or marinade with fresh lemon juice?
  5. Happy birthday Naaman! Not like your ride but it was the best looking cake I could find.
  6. I like the way you cook. Can I come visit for a few weeks? Those meals look awesome.
  7. 2007 Signorello Cabernet, a classic Napa Cabernet and well done. Another Yountville trip new discovery.
  8. Moar Blackbird Merlot. Eventhough it is a 2006 it tastes much better with moar breathing like 12hours after opening. Signorello Uvaggio- a blend of 33% Cabernet Sauvignon,33% merlot and 33% Cabernet Franc. Me likey, you try............
  9. Al let me know what you think once you set up the Gallo Stradas. Right now with my Oppo 93 I am leaning towards the Nucleus Micro Ti due to the WAF factor but if you really really like the Stradas then I guess I can risk divorce and substitute the Stratos. I don't think Mary will notice the difference.
  10. Congratulations! Being an uncle is both exciting and a big responsibility.
  11. Dinny, sue them for not liking you. That will teach them.
  12. Blackbird Illustration Merlot. One of our recent Yountville trip discoveries.
  13. Ok, I'm done......back to work.
  14. Actually they are rectum implants, the music travels up his GI tract through his esophagus up his nasal cavity and bounces off his cochlea. Sort of like the Bose wave guide principle.
  15. 1999 Beaune 1st Cru les Chouacheux, friggin' awful. Essence of barnyard goat farts and hippo toejams, makes me crave a Miller Light. I am not a happy camper.
  16. Jim, whenever you are ready for that live rattler just pm me, I have lots around my back yard, lots of wine shipping boxes and a Fedex account. Summer is just around the corner ya know.
  17. Happy Birthday Colin! Wishing you warm weather and a cold Ale.
  18. I am trying to get a group to attend the Newport Beach Show, should be fun.
  19. Happy Happy Birthday Steve! Thanks for those stories at CanJam IL. (at least I think I was there)
  20. Wow Mike that is one nice watch! Dinny, you are such a nice husband and so near Valentines day too, nice two-fer. You should now buy yourself a present for being such a good hubby, no wait you already did.
  21. Deal. I have some older Chardonnays and one Pinot left but I have no idea what vineyards they are so I will have to check when the weather gets a little warmer. The Pinots are drinking pretty spectacular now so you might want to pop one on your next visit. Given what you just posted perhaps I should look around in my locker to see if I can dig up a Vine Hill, if I find one I will let you know what I think. Good luck on the spinning classes, a great way to get a bike work out without dodging cabs and bike messengers.
  22. Happy Happy Stephen!
  23. Dinny, if you can ever find any there check out Entre Nous Cabernet. A great new world Cali Cab and great people too.
  24. The Harlan is not too shabby either.
  25. Please explain, you used the W word and now I am interested.
