  1. I dated a girl in college once just like that. Turns out she became a female wrestler and tractor pull champion.....go figure. Oh, forgot to mention, Williams Selyem Sonoma Coast Pinot.
  2. Wat, no iPad for Libby? Happy Birthday Libby!
  3. "Copper, silver, gold, it's all the same"...............that's what I told my wife on Mother's day, so now I sleep on the couch.
  4. I like snakes And so it begins..... Needless to say, no one goes barefoot or rolls around in our yard.
  5. Signorello Uvaggio, Cabernet, Merlot, Cabernet Franc blend. Not Hoboken Bitches type, but good nonetheless.
  6. Some Muga Rioja Prado Enea Gran Reserva 2004 for BBQs next month and four bottles of champagne, all Billiot Brut Reserve, Julie and Laetitia.
  7. Evidently also bought some Ojai Rose and another 2005 Roll Ranch Syrah. Ojai also makes a nice Reisling and Viognier so that will be my next purchase next week.
  8. Cheers hoboken Bitches! Moar Port for me right now, contemplating some Merlot. Shelly's got me thinkin' so tomorow after I attend a school event for my son I think I will go Malbec hunting and pick up some Champagne and Muga Rioja while I am at it. Don't want to run out of wine any time soon.
  9. Wow, stay safe Birgir and no picnics for a while ehh? Hoping travel plans are not disrupted for anyone.
  10. What he said. /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ Carbon fiber gives you the feel of the road without the constant rattle and vibration transmission from the asphalt. If you do any climbing and need to get out of the saddle, your back will thank you for the carbon fiber post ride. Oh, congrats Al!
  11. Dan and Dusty's Syrah purchases have had an influence on me I guess. Today I received a confirmation on my order from March for Alban Reva and Alban Roussanne. Oh, and more rocks, plants and lights.
  12. Happy Birthday Brent!
  13. Caught the final stage of the Amgen Tour de California. Awesome location, caught all four of the final laps and saw plenty of bike porn. Damn, I would love to drop some big coin on a new carbon bike, shoes and sram groupo, but aint gonna happen; landscaper has first dibs on my wallet for the next few months.
  14. Bet your cardiologist recommends that place to everyone he/she meets. Does look very tasty though.
  15. Happy Birthday! I will drink lots in your honor tonight.
  16. If you are still here, Happy Birthday.
  17. The Meadowlands. Just try not to trip over Jimmy Hoffa's remains or anyone who owed money to the mob.
  18. 2008 EntreNous Sauvignon Blanc, 1998 Fox Creek McLaren Vale Shiraz, 2005 Alban Reva Syrah, 2000 Chateau Suduiraut Sautern for desert. Not a bad dinner.
  19. Ouch! Sorry to hear that Wayne, I hope your wallet heals real soon.

  21. This thread makes me very very angry! I can't believe you all think this is funny.......... What am I going to do with all the really really nice wine I have stored in my lockers? I can't possibly drink it all up in 3 2 days. OK, winefest So Cal officially begins now, leaving the office and hitting the locker on the way to my bunker. Anyone know what wine goes best with the raptures?
  22. There is a local Brazilian restaurant here in town, the food is very good but their beer and wine selection sucks so we don't eat there very often. What little i have had I liked. Mike what cuts of pork did you use with that Que (post # 3536)? Looks very very tasty.
  23. 2008 Ojai Bien Nacido Pinot. After having so much Cabernet, Cabernet Franc and Merlot these past three months the Pinot is just a little to delicate and polite for me tonight, though very tasty.
  24. Since Keira Knightly is not in this movie, I would most whole heartaly agree.
