  1. The number is for set. 1 for KGSSHV is all the boards needed. The only option is whether you need 1 or 2 PSUs for the Dynas.
  2. Just added a column for the PSU. Mark 1 or 2 and I'll calculate the total basing on how many Dyna sets you need.
  3. In order for easy track, please check out this spreadsheet. https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AnqARwsQ1QV7dFRhVnIwTF92OTVQS3RlQnNpNWxtSUE&hl=vi&authkey=CMyJv4QP#gid=0 Let me know if you can't fill it out.
  4. Hi all, I'm going to do a board run for Dr Gilmore's latest projects (KGSSHV, Dynahi Rev A and DynaFET) so if anyone is interested, please sign up here. The KGSSHV will be the latest revision. Board set would be 2x amp boards and 1x PSU board. The amp boards are now mounted on side heatsinks. http://gilmore.chem..../kgsshvps8e.jpg http://gilmore.chem....gsshvampv7s.jpg The Balanced Dyhahi Rev A and DynaFET will share the same PSU. One PSU is enough but due to the symmetry, 2 would surely look better Board set would be 2x amp boards and 1/2x PSU board(s). http://gilmore.chem....u/dynahibal.jpg http://gilmore.chem....ynahifetbal.jpg http://gilmore.chem..../dynapower2.jpg The boards will be made with the same specs with the T2 boards I did a couple months ago. Not sure about the price yet but I don't think it would be awfully expensive. Of course, the more the cheaper. Whenever I have the boards, I'll try to post the BOMs for them. So if you are interested, please let me know here what you want. I'll send out the order tomorrow for price quote. 5. Happy Birthday Justin!
  6. Happy Birthday!
  7. I have a weird feeling looking at those pics
  8. Happy Birthday!
  9. Thank you. Regarding the umbilical cables, what's the maximum length I could go for? I'm thinking of 4ft length.
  10. I got some questions about the tubes. Regarding the input tubes, do they really have to be a matched quad, or just matched pairs would be fine? I have some pairs of Siemens and Telefunken CCa but most of them are matched pair, hard to get a closest quad. Also, is there any significant difference between the xf1 and xf2, construction or SQ? I've just scored a quad of xf1, OO. Not sure how they stand up against the xf2 which are really tough to find NOS ones these days.
  11. Beautiful work, Kerry!
  12. 16 years-old with HE60 and O2? Man, kids these days...
  13. I saw the link but it was dead...
  14. Craig, Do you have a pic of those counterfeit 2sc3675s? I got a bunch of those and about 30% of them look different from the others.
  15. Heh, hope so. I was looking at the mounting holes and had a feeling they won't match the ones on the T2.
  16. So is there any chance the attenuator boards would fit on the T2's board? Seems bigger, I guess.
  17. Well, you can just use the onboard heatsinks version, cramp the boards into the side heatsinks chassis, just like what Bellatone or Rudistor did, and still looks cool I personally think the onboard version is much less hassle to deal with, as long as your chassis has a lot of venting holes.
  18. Angled heatsinks surely look sexy, would love to have them but I'm fine with vertical ones with lots of fins, which, I think, have better heat dissipation. Are you looking for the sinks for the KGSS or T2?
  19. Just when I'm almost done... *crying in the corner* Would the voltage swing be pumped up in this version? I'm interested in the 5" heatsinks. Willing to take at least 6 of them, depending on length, if the group buy could go through. Better just buy pre-made ones than do that work on my own.
  20. Would it be possible to buy just the PCB (and transformer, if possible) later when it's out?
  21. I suppose we need 2x PSU for a balanced build? Also, will the Dynahi and Dynafet use the same PSU?
  22. What source are you using?
  23. I put it on the T2's pcb to compare with the Rk50 and it's indeed longer.
  24. Would be tough to choose which to build. Haven't seen the BOMs for both but looking at the parts on the PCBs, I suspect the Dynafet would be a little more expensive. I don't know if it's appropriate but do you think adding a protection circuit, something like Ti's E12, makes any difference? There are quite a lot of space at the bottom of both boards. The E12 integrated in the MiniMax is pretty tiny too.
