I'm trying not to fall on either side of this argument. I've never owned or fired a gun. But I know people who enjoy gun ownership responsibly and I don't want them to have their weapons confiscated. But I can also see some logic in wanting certain types of weapons not be so easily available. I think this thread is doing exactly what has not taken place in our country in general - we're talking about it. From all sides but reasonably. In Washington and other places where it matters, it seems the NRA plants its feat and the Gun Control people plant theirs and there is no discussion. This is an excellent time to change that. I don't want to take your guns away and you don't want dead innocents, especially children. So let's find some fucking way to talk about this and at least lessen the chances of these things happening that we all can agree on. Stop being bullheaded and talk to each other America.

I still think Alonso was the star of the season. Vettel always had the superior car, except for reliability issues mid season. So I was not surprised he came from last to almost win in Abu Dhabi. He's a good driver, but put him in Alonso's Ferrari this year and I don't think he would have finished 3 points behind Fernando. And let's not forget, this would have been a different championship if Alonso's lead had not been erased thanks to ham fisted drivers like Grosjean at Spa. This was a tremendous season and I'm already waiting for 2013 to begin.
