Wow Steve, reading the RS obit, he was pretty huge in jazz circles. RIP Orin. And thanks for getting some very awesome music to our ears.

We're going to try a smoked chili tonight. Using our award losing chili recipe as the base, I'm going to sear a pound and a half of chuck, move it to a bowl and smoke it with the Smoking Gun. After getting various peppers and tomatoes going, along with some stout, the meat will go back in and we'll see what we get.

Another FoodSaver user here. We've been very happy with this model.

We had about 14" in Monee. Luckily the homeowners association covers snow removal (we do pay for it in fees of course). They did driveways this morning and are supposed to be coming back for sidewalks tonight.

Currently in Monee, with no sign of stopping. Worse, Three Floyds is closed!!!

That's a part of my youth right there. Mom is still a Cubs fan, but I remember Ernie from my youth. Such an always up, positive kind of guy. Weird that this one is hitting me a little hard. I can remember watching him foul off 5 - 10 balls in a row, just measuring up a pitcher to then hit one out of the park. So good in his prime. So maybe I need to go to Wrigley this year on a warm, sunny day and think "let's play two today!"

Think about when would be a good time for you Shelly. I know Deb and I would love to give you hugs in person.
