  1. Pico de gallo and Tostitos Scoops.
  2. That was my Zana at the Chicago meet and I was equally impressed with the K340's. So much so that like Ryan, I'm in pursuit of a stock pair to send to Larry. The pair in question were morphsci's and they did sound awesome. And as for power needed, I was surprised. Using RS-1's on the Zana I rarely turn the volume past about 9 - 10 o'clock, with Senn's 10 - 11. The K340's were usually above 12-1 o'clock to get them to a decent listening level. The bass was very good, but what I was impressed with was the overall balance and clean midrange on Jim's pair. They really hit the sweet spot of how I like my music.
  3. I need to know where you live sometime before Christmas. I HAVE TO see this!!
  4. And bad Reksy. Actually I envy you. After 10 years of not smoking, I still get the urge to have one, but continue to resist.
  5. Went to Mom's house (she's 87) and planted hostas and bleeding hearts in one of her flower beds, then mulched the others. Most of the rest of the day I lazed around home watching a Monty Python marathon on BBC America. Grilled a ribeye for me and a green chili marinated chicken breast for the wife for dinner. We had corn on the cob as well. And then I watched an MST3K episode.
  6. So now get back to your original thread and give us some impressions!! Please?
  7. Happy Birthday!!

  9. Aqua Teen Hunger Force Volume 1.
  10. Yeah, gotta agree. I had Lacewood Darth's. Kept 'em for about 2 months. Loved looking at 'em. Hardly ever listened to 'em. Sold 'em.

  13. Hitachi 12" compound miter saw.
  14. Me either, but I keep watching. Catherine Tate as the companion just really grates on me.
  15. Howdy Dom. Welcome to the funhouse! Mike
  16. Yep, I got a free 1 year subscription for joining Salon.com, thinking what the hell I probably wouldn't like it. But when that was about to expire I renewed for 2 years because it really has been a worthwhile read.
  17. A salad made with Romaine hearts, roasted red peppers, red onion and artichoke hearts. Dressed with a light white wine vinegar & olive oil and sprinkled liberally with freshly grated parmesan. Yum.
  18. Can you deal with fur everywhere and horked up hairballs and smelly litter and speakers treated as scratching posts? All are possible. And don't get me wrong - we have 3 cats and I love them all. Just trying to give you reality.
  19. Tommy is in front, looking stoic as any cat lover will recognize. Willy is the upside down guy, being the goof. They are brothers, adopted as ferals from the local Humane Society right before they were due to be put to sleep. They are still a bit skittish, but good typical kittehs.
  20. Awesome pic. Looks like they are good buds.
