Over on head-fi Fang started up an HE-6p loaner thread where he gives some insight on where they lay in his lineup.

Hmmm. I just got some HE-6 that I'm very happy with so I'm not in the market, but the HE-6p could be pretty interesting. Any idea on pricing or has that not been spoken yet?

Good to know, I figured it wouldn't actually be the same as the HE-6, it's just funny how quickly they came out with this. Don't they also have the HE-4 coming out? Also, from your description I take it the HE-6p wouldn't actually work all that well direct out of an ipod?

I wish they'd have posted some info about it... even if it was just price so we know what we're looking at here. Either way... despite Jack White I have no optimism about these. If you look at Nixon's product line it's mostly fashion accessories, and their headphones do nothing to prove they're anything but. Or just sell some RS2's.
