Metallica - The $5.98 EP Vinyl off ebay, record club copy, and I didn't pay that much more then the original price ($9.08 shipped). Great record, and sounds great to! The drums pummel and Kirk's solos soar. Has some of my favorite "metallica" tunes, even though they are covers. "Helpless" "The Wait", and of course my personal favorite thing they play: "Last Caress".

all of my geekier Internet savvy friends adore it, and the newer comics consistently make the digg front page. I've sat for hours at work sifting through their archives, and nary a chuckle escapes my lips. so I gave up on it.

my first gen iPod is nude, and it's been fine since I bought it in jan. I've even dropped it quite a few times. my only complaint is I would like the screen to stay cleaner, but a quick wipe with a damp paper towel always does the trick.

As some of you may know, I am fascinated by older audio designs that have stood the test of time. I was reading about a new production Rogers LS3/5a in a recent Hi-Fi News, and this drove me to the internet to do more research. It definitely sounds like a speaker I am interested in hearing. So who here has heard an LS3/5a in any of its versions? Impressions?

mmmmmmmmm!! I believe a "dew eet" is appropriate here. I really enjoyed the He phone at Canjam, and it was more comfortable on my head then I ever managed to get the OIIMK1 to be. I would love to pick one up at the introductory price but there is always that pain in the ass of acquiring the 'stat amp to go with it. I wonder if we'll ever see the quality sub <$1000 stat amp.
