glad to read a positive review. I also just bought the beatles mono box. amazon is killing me with these deals.

well since I just bought a TV I probably won't be able to pickup the 93 until 2011. hopefully it's still in production then. looking forward to everyone's impressions.

I had no intention of buying the box but at that price I went for it. I do like mono.

to be fair I am basing it on one beagle experience I had with a roommate in college. they certainly look like sweet dogs, so I am sure other beagles aren't as bad.

finally I could download classics like "I Bark All Goddamn Day For No Reason Because I'm a Beagle. Who the Hell Likes These Dogs?"

I definitely checked a bunch to see if I smelled. I notice it as soon as I sit down in the car. at first I thought maybe I pooted, but I kept noticing the smell. after work I opened the trunk and the smell hit me. I'm wondering if I could have somehow left some meat in the car. I'll get some kanye west glasses and lemon pledge and try the Voltron Meat Search Method. I didn't read your post very closely but that is what I inferred.

I checked under the hood for dead animals, I looked under the seats and in the trunk, I don't see anything. also it doesn't smell bad under the hood, only inside the car and in the trunk. It smells like something dead and has grown stronger throughout the day. suggestions?

oh yeah, I always stay optimistic about SNL. it will always get better eventually. I think it's just time for a new head writer. Tina Fey got stale eventually, I think Seth Meyers just is as well. assuming he is still head writer.

I'm a big SNL fan, and am very forgiving of seasons lots of other people seem to dislike, but this season has been one of the unfunniest I've ever seen. even the Jon Hamm episode was snoozeworthy.

yeah the cart definitely looks like a Denon. Nice, I remember you really enjoyed an Acoustic Solid deck you owned a couple years ago, only that one was less shiny and more woodgrainy. They know how to make a good looking deck either way.

I've been reading through that thread on AVS, and like others I am most curious as to the browsing mechanism for FLAC files. It would only be feasible to hook up a huge ass HD if A) the browsing is easy and somewhat slick and the files are presented in order. Some non-computer file systems choose to display files in whatever the hell kind of order they want to. This could put a serious damper on usability. Based on Oppo's past record of excellence I'm assuming this won't be the case, I'm just throwing the possiblity out there. I'm excited by the 93 because, even after years of use and upgrading to the Touch, I'm just not a fan of the Squeezebox user experience. Functionally its amazing, and thats why I use it, but I don't like the browsing compared to say, browsing on foobar. Browsing on a computer is just so much faster. I also don't like trying to look at the small squeezebox screen from my couch. The iPeng iPhone program helps with this, and its come a long way, but it still has some bugs that occasionally hamper usability. I would love just a simple file structure I could quickly scroll through with my remote viewable on my TV. That would be pretty cool.
