yeah I pretty much have no idea what kind of classical I like, so I'm listening to all of it. It'll probably take me a loooong time to hone down to my favorite composers. I pretty much know I like Beethoven and Tchaivosky, those are the only ones I've 100% on. yeah but they looked good so. i think a good way to judge a classical album is by its cover. if the conductor looks smart on the cover its probably good music. also if it was in the 50s and 60s its good.

best way I've found to pinpoint a certain CD on amazon is to glean the conductor OR performer from the album cover (whoever the star is), then do a search with the conductor or performer + composer, then scan the album covers that pop up.
