By the way, I am sure this is old news around here, but it was news to me: according to the Stax website, production of the 4070 ended in November? Closed Back type Earspeaker : 4070 I wonder with all the recent product introductions from Stax if we can expect a new model of closed headphone?

So do you think the "openness" of the ports is by design, or just a consequence of the other changes made to the cable entry?

So I'm confused, does the little resin piece which blocks the port on the Mk1 fit on the Mk2? Are there any other differences in the driver? If one were to take the port plug and the spring from the Mk1, wouldn't it essentially make it a Mk1 (different pads aside)? Is there any way to buy Mk1 parts? I'm assuming the answer is no.

I'd highly recommend the Bread Baker's Apprentice, even if you don't end up making any of the recipes, it is still provides valuable insights into the science behind bread, which I think would make any recipe more successful. The recipe you mentioned is good, another easy one which my wife and I like a lot is Vegan Beer Bread.
