  2. Flaming Lips - Gummy Skull Song (4 song EP on usb stick)
  3. So a complaint from the Atlanta show I've seen on a couple of forums is most of the the rooms stuck rigidly to audiophile demo music only, sort of makes me less enthusiastic about NY if this is the case.
  4. Birgir get a Squeezebox Touch install the software on a random PC with all your music and forget about this USB nonsense Touch will do 24/96 through digital out, it has been rock solid for several months here
  5. Nice I will be in NYC that weekend and will try and attend either day. Anyone else up for it?

    Record Store Day 2011

Todd thanks for the heads up, I realized last night the usual audiophile dealers will be getting them online. I'm going to pass on it though.

    Record Store Day 2011

It won't make any difference to me since my tonearm has adjustable VTA, and the difference between 120 and 140 (less than 1 mm thickness probably) won't matter even if you can't adjust VTA. The colored version is now sold out, so grab one of the black boxes if the hipsters haven't bought them all. People are saying the sound quality is good.
  12. first pressing us vinyl, mastered by lee hulko

    Record Store Day 2011

The in store release I'd like is the Grateful Dead first album in mono, but I'm not waking up 3 hours early then driving an hour to line up outside a store for that. A bunch of 7"s, singles and picture discs are neat, but I'm not one for novelty. I'll be ordering the Flaming Lips box set, thank god that will be available online
