Head-Case Fantasy Football
Yup Chaarles is gonna kill me in my other league. No chance of winning that one now. Wonder if this will be an 0-16 season for the Chiefs monster game for Vincent Jackson...

SD just needs to keep setting up the Pats for field goals for the second half and I might have a chance

Post the last thing you bought!
I haven't paid for it yet, but I fully intend to since it sounds great It's a balanc Dynmite with dual S22 for power supplies. I remember hearing one at a NY meet (SFT build?) a lond time ago and it resonated with me just like the O2/KGSS. Just in time for winter!

KG Balanced Dynahi build discussion thread
I have a bunch of 1/4w PRP resistors for a Dynahi build (s/e) if anyone wants them I'll let them go really cheap. You'll just need to pick up a set for the second half if you're building a balanced one. gone

Holy Crap! The New Stax Omega Looks fierce! (Stax SR-009)
As one who enjoys quite a bit of metal (mostly thrash and true death metal from the 80s/90s) I do think the SR-007 (with BH) are one of the few headphones that can play at soft, medium or high volume with those genres without making everything sound like mush. There is a crapload of stuff going in those styles of metal, from really fast guitar and bass playing, blast beat drumming a lot of headphones will make the music sound like a big wall of sound. So I can understand where Birgir is coming from. I do look forward to hearing the 009 for myself one day (and maybe even on a DIY T2!)

KGSSHV, Balanced Dynahi Rev A and DynaFET board run
I hope to have all the T2 people packed and shipped out middle of next week, they are taking up a lot of space here the delay has been waiting for the bubble envelopes. Going to take everything to Staples/UPS to get the shipping amounts first.

Good god I noticed Chad Henne put up 37 points in that disastrous Pats/Miami game.

Transcoding ALAC to FLAC
Like Dan said dBPoweramp. The program owns, and is only limited by your cpu speed and number of cores.

New Favorite Things
Thanks Greg will look into that one. I think it is just a crappy week with the seasonal weather changes, it's usually never an issue.

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
I'll ask, but they aren't on the official Renesas distributor list so I am weary of proceeding.

New Favorite Things
Does anyone here use an air purifier they can recommend? My allergies were perfect for the past year or so on just 10 mg of Loratidine (Claritin generic), but have been pretty crappy these last few days.

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
The first distributor I spoke to told me minimum purchase quantity for k216/j79 was 3000 of each. Digikey just gave me this quote... does this mean they are free? (I called them curious about what it meant, and the plain simple of it is they can't buy them). Sorry guys. The New England rep for Renesas hasn't been very helpful, so if anyone else wants to try their local rep you may have more success.

Audeze LCD-2
I'm looking forward to hearing the LCD-2 balanced on the Dynamite. I continue to enjoy them for what they are, but the hype is a bit silly (I don't mean this in a negative way for just the LCD-2, if the O2 had a thread growing at 5 pages a day it would be just as inane). When I want to really enjoy music and put away everything else I still reach for the Omega 2 mk1.
