Ah yes thats what it was that I remembered about the W5000.
-
I'm using PC2700 in my laptop and it's running great with Kingston ValueRAM. I've never experienced a BSOD, and both sticks passed every memtest86 bench.
-
Interesting...I think most people that heard both said the W5000 is more detailed. Unless they're confusing brighter with more detailed (I've noticed this to be a trend). So I guess it's able to handle fast metal pretty well? Unrelated question but do you think the headphone amp in the Apogee is better than the Lavry DA10?
-
Yup it is. Someone on the SH forums has one as well. http://www.krellonline.com/html/k_archive2.html Last made in 1994 and 1995.

I've been trying to contact Frank for the last two weeks. When I leave a message he never calls back. And the one time he answered his phone he quickly said he has to put me on hold, then it was another 10 minute wait. He hasn't replied to my email either.

I'm brushing up (and learning a lot of new stuff) for my DIY phono stage the Hagerman Bugle. I want to try my best to build this independently and it helps that I have a ton of free time. I've been thinking about getting into gas powered RC cars, they look hella fun but unsure about my living situation in the fall so going to hold off on that. -
Well if they were arranged alphabetically it would be faster for the person typing since there's minimum memorization of the keyboard. So slowing down adjacent letters is slowing down their overall speed.
-
Yeah I believe there is truth to what Dusty says. It was intended for people to single "cluck" type. Later on the F and J became the home keys.
-
How fast are you with the Dvorak? It's supposed to be much more efficient than QWERTY isn't it? As I understand it QWERTY was made initially to slow down typists using typewriters so they wouldn't jam the machine.

Hmm...still somewhat have it, haven't played since last summer. Second round in italy was much better. Our team came back from 0-5, which was

I have only heard two needle drops using this setup: Vinyl >> Music Hall MMF-5 turntable with Goldring G1012 cartridge & Music Hall Cruise Control speedbox >> Yamaha RX-570 Receiver (phono stage preamp) >> E-MU 0404 External soundcard {ASIO} (24Bit\96kHz) >> Laptop and they sound amazing. I can't wait to hear my rig...finally. -
Good album you're attempting to spin

If you really want them you can get them.

Which AT's have you heard? (W5000, W10vtg, W11jpn, W2002 all receive high praise so I'm just curious)
