  1. I didn't find the modded D2000 particularly detailed. They were bright though. The Omega 2 smoked them in detail and resolution.
  2. Save up for speakers or buy superfluous second laptop... hmm. Quicktime 7 is working, it's not bad. Yay I can now watch my heart failure videos.
  3. I have the Quicktime plugin for Media Player Classic and that isn't working.
  4. I attended this CME course and they gave us the lectures in iPod video format as well (.m4v), but I don't have an iPod or a Mac, so I'm having a hard time finding a way to play them on Windows. Does anyone know any reverse encoding software that can make them into a file that I can playback? Thanks.
  5. Another excellent must have. Four disc box set of Clifford Brown's works. This is sort of cheating, but he died young and didn't record much. Disc 3 and 4 are basically the Art Blakey Quintet Live at Birdland Volume 1 and 2 respectively. So you know those are dynamite already.
  6. You dun gone get yerself banned too?
  7. It prevents Google from indexing the thread.
  8. I was only able to get the back of Ian's head
  9. x mother frackin three. No cats in my crib.
  10. Sweet I think that will compliment the colors of your Omega 2 very nicely!
  11. My new ESP/950 from Koss have around 100 hours on them, and so far I think they definitely sound a bit better than my old set I sent in (when they didn't have the squeal). There is now semblance of a soundstage, and they sound great at rock and jazz. They are competitive with the HE60, especially given the price the Sennheiser's fetch. Come on KG, we need a portable estat amp, I want to take these to work
  12. Are you guys still enjoying your Biotracers? I have the opportunity to get a PS-X75 (not sure how this one compares with the others?) locally, that I might look into more. I still need to sell my MMF-5, though I've been using it a lot more recently. edit: headphones are brutal with surface noise though.
  13. Not uploading anything. Just downloading files that someone else uploaded using Rapidshare.
  14. I have about 5 GB I want to download off Rapidshare. All broken up into 100 mb file sizes. Given the 50 kb/s restriction and only one download at a time with the free account this is going to take ages. Does anyone know the current download limit for the premium account? June 26 their FAQ said 10 GB per day, but I want to make sure that's right since a download limit isn't even mentioned on their comparison page (comparing free and premium perks). Just want to be sure before I get the three day trial, hope my CC doesn't charge me extra for USD -> EU conversion \
  15. Bottleneck as a digital transport or as a digital to analog converter? Sorry just slightly confused by the setups you used, this part in particular: If I'm reading this right you prefer the magiDAC when run off USB to the Squeezebox3 as a DAC. But you prefer the Squeezebox3 as a DAC when the magiDAC is connected through the SB3's digital out? I have only tried my Squeezebox 3 as a digital transport, and I have A/B'ed it against my M-Audio Transit (very easy to do since the Transit is bit perfect without any tom foolery) and the two sound exactly the same.
  16. Start up a new thread, there is no lack of interest in the Buffalo DAC here
  17. You didn't need to take it out completely (I thought it was funny), I just removed it from being imbedded in the thread, so people could still click on it.
  18. Well I don't really care about Icarium But I wasn't a fan of the last part of your message I quoted. It's all good, these arguments are good now and then.
  19. That went beyond defending yourself. Al seriously a 2.9 mb imbedded image?
  20. Are these ad hominem attacks really called for? I'm done debating this. For what it's worth I love objectivity as well, but I won't push it on anyone else since it's annoying as fuck to most people.
