Very nicely done

Steve what wood do you have planned for the case? And are you just doing just the front panel or sides as well?
-
Hirsch, do you remember the differences between your old MK1 and the one you got recently? IIRC you said your old O2 MK1 was too polite with your ES-1, is this the case with your new one?

I think the only thing I'd want from his setup is his Loricraft On topic: for getting to try and build my Pearl. Vinyl forever

<- me I just messaged Marc. If anyone doesn't see themselves building this, I would gladly take the kit or individual boards (2) off your hands.

Add smoking 100 cigarettes a day to the aerius diet. You're probably screwed when you quit though

A DIY Xono or Pass built? PL built would be $2000-2500 used, a bit overkill for my setup Maybe when I'm an attending I'll pick up a Xono

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to go with the Cinemag CMQEE-3440A. I think they're around $100-120 a pair, with the Lundahls around $180. And the Lundahls are best done with the PCB mounting, whereas the Cinemags just need a simple clamp. And I've been communicating with a DIY guy on SH and he likes the DL-103 and Altec Peerless, but says the Cinemags are exceptional and perform very nicely. I think I'll upgrade my MMF-5 before starting the SUTs. No fotm since this won't be anytime soon, I've been really busy with work.

Thanks for the info Torpedo. I was probably going to go the DIY route. I'm in the US. I was trying to keep it more budget oriented since my vinyl rig isn't very high end and I plan to upgrade the TT, phono and cart sometime.
-
I decided I'm probably going to get the .25mv version of the DL-103, so I guess I'm in the market for a SUT as well Any other suggestions? The Cinemag looks like a great deal now, but I want to do more reading on the Lundahls. Without the kit, the Lundahls are very reasonably priced as well...

I don't know. aerius might, I think he was one of the first people to mention them around here. It might be the Bent Audio one and not the Prometheus. -

I think a couple of people here tried or owned the Promitheus TVC. I wouldn't mind hearing a good one in a speaker system. -
Jesus I just checked out rates flying out of Manch, that's cheap as hell. I always paid around $600 round trip flying into LAX in the peak seasons edit: never mind I don't think those prices include gas tax, airport tax and whatever other shit they hit you with.

Are the rest of their albums on vinyl just as good? Attack and Release is a great album.

I know exactly what you mean, I don't understand how magazine reviewers can act like assholes to their readers. They're not even that big a publication Some of the crap they post is just -

Those Tone people make reading the SH audio section painful. They love the fleshy cable
