I agree all SH's Ray Charles discs sound amazing. Definitely my reference Gold DCCs. I hope he manages to reprint them on Audio Fidelity so more people can hear them.

Backed up more data off the laptop (did the freezer trick with the hardrive twice and it worked ) and put up with listening to dynamic speakers to keep myself from going crazy without music. Laptop is working fine with 5x more space and back upstairs listening to the Stax. Decent day

I believe this was a thread started in 2006 or 2007 (on Head-Case with the old forum software). And I'm pretty sure 909 started it- it was asking about potentiometer replacements for a Moth amp. There were a a lot of suggestions in that thread, which then went off topic with marijuana jokes. Does anyone remember this thread? I've used every possible search string I could think of and I still can't find it. Admins- any way of checking if it was deleted by accident? edit: I suppose the real thing I wanted out of that thread was where I could buy an ALPS RK40 from. I think someone posted a link to a German seller that had them.
