I haven't modded mine yet. I see a lot of potential in these drivers, which kills me to see them selling for so much since I would love to hear them in a bigger enclosure like Steve's Beyers.
I do want a fairly big room (something like 30 feet in length), so ceiling height is a big consideration right now. I'm also planning this to be just a dedicated two channel room so there really won't be anything else in it.
I'll definitely pick up the Testing Loudspeakers book, thanks for the tip!
My prediction is Boomer will steal back Hera and all will be well in the universe again.
Also Bill was probably high when he decided to sell pieces of the ship for more trees :-0
I created a similar thread at Headfi a while ago and I'll paste the links I was offered over there. I'm now much more serious and once again interested in any good reading for room setup and treatments. I'm especially interested in room design and getting the most performance if one is able to start from complete scratch.
The links offered up for those interested:

I have been a fan of Si' for a long time, but haven't been able to find their other albums. I actually enjoy the non-singing parts the most, so mostly the second half of Si'.
Time to check yourself into Vicki's center and sell me your TT
The NYC meets are awesome, and since you're in Boston you're even closer than us NH'ers, no excuse!
Yeah, but Barry Diament has brain washed a good few over there
Shit son I can often times be found sleep talking about buying Outlaw Audio amps and Hip Joints
The new pair I received back didn't have the squeal. I put about 50 hours on them to make sure, and there was no sign of it.
It definitely wasn't 72 hours with me. Probably closer to three weeks not including the transit time to Koss. Though everyone at their customer service are very friendly and courteous.
