  1. Possibly starting to collect Japan TOCJ Blue Note CDs (only the 1990s issues), this won't be cheap First up: Thelonious Monk - More Genius of Thelonious Monk (TOCJ 1604)
  2. How are they with music? And have you compared them with other amps? Thanks for the impressions. No I haven't.
  3. Soup is good
  4. Any thoughts on the Outlaw Audio M2200 amps? Outlaw Audio They are class G amps, and I know Barry Diament at SH forums really likes them with Maggies. And they're cheap and easy to resell. 5. Demo'ing speakers with Comus.... salesmen = Comus FTW!!
  6. That Meridian remote is massive! I thought the G08's was big
  7. I'm skeptical that they'll sound better than the vinyl, especially if they master by modern standards (compress/maximize).
  8. Music that doesn't include Ghost
  9. Pre-order of remastered Beatles albums on Amazon (UK) and HMV websites! - SH Forums ... 55 pages of posts in one day More official information: http://beatles.com/core/home/
  10. My 2 c, I agree with Nate I'd be looking for balanced inputs and outputs. Some sources will just sound better through the balanced outs (and some better through SE).
  11. I agree with jp# about good 300B amps. And I don't agree with people that posted in the HFi threads saying 300B's are great for just female vocals and such (maybe crappy 300B amps...) My friend's ECC99/300B monoblocks and K1000 can easily handle any highly dynamic orchestra piece, thrash metal, minimal folk music, etc. The setup is almost as good as the Omega 2 MK1
  12. But you live in NYC, envy right back at you I'm going to be living in the burbs where ever I end up, so I can have some decent living space. But fun stuff to do <<< than NYC
  13. Yeah I understand trial and error, but if I'm having a house built, I'd rather have an excellent listening room planned out and built before hand. The speakers I want are big.
  14. The Gentleman Losers - Dustland
  15. Popol Vuh - Aguirre, The Wrath of God (Soundtrack for the film)
  16. That's because you were the only one on this fake leather conspiracy wagon

  23. In the Aeroplane Over the Sea vinyl!
  24. I've never liked the feel of Odyssey putters using the demo mats in stores. But once I got used to them on real greens, they are now my favorite.
  25. pffft, 1000 is only limited edition if it's a good headphone.
