I would not want to fall asleep with that cord anywhere near my neck

SAA knows people will buy them even at $1400.

deepak replied to riceboy's topic in GoRedwings19's Computer Help Hotline
The lucky folks in Europe get Windows 7 without Internet Explorer 8 bundled. Windows 7 to be shipped in Europe without Internet Explorer - Ars Technica If only Americans could be so lucky :'( -

Surprised Marc hasn't said anything about all that acrylic. Maybe he skipped the images

I don't know the old TNT turntables don't really hold their value well from what I've seen.
-
Hmm not too sure about that. Inner groove distortion is usually the result of improper setup or crappy equipment I have heard plenty of setups that have no inner groove distortion at all.
-
I bought one of these when they were all the rage a few years ago. Sounded like shit; even properly mastered SACDs did.

Ah I understand what you're saying now, I sort of meant the same thing, but perpendicular probably wasn't the correct term I'm aware of the technology, a close friend of mine had a Kuzma Stabi XL on loan that uses a linear tracking tonearm. Unfortunately I never had a chance to hear it while he had it \ (ultimately he preferred his Aries table, even though he thought the Stabi XL was technically superior).

I'm trying to picture why, but I don't get what you mean by this? Do you mean with a LT tonearm the stylus is perpendicular to the record groove, whereas with a standard tonearm the stylus contact is at more of an angle?

Squeeze in a hot dog lunch in there somewhere and you have the makings of a good meat.

I too prefer the mini meet, and driving to NYC for the big meet.

Welcome to Head-Case! I'd love to hear a Tape Project rig

I disagree. I think Paul is still making some great music. His latest Fireman album Electric Arguments isn't the same old oldies crap that a lot of older musicians keep rehashing. The album is very fresh and progressive IMO. Amazon.com: Electric Arguments: The Fireman and Youth Paul McCartney: Music

The heartrate mouse is truly bizarre. From gizmodo: "It's not meant for everyone, but anyone using Windows who's also a heart patient might find it useful, or even lifesaving" Because these "heart patients" have defibrillators and a few thousand units of epinephrine near them when using the computer

Cool thanks Nate. Didn't even dawn on me to check Hagerman's site

Any Bugle owners care to comment how many hours they get out of a pair of 9v batteries? Debating whether I want battery power or one with the PSU. The huge plus side of the battery powered unit being it would be infinitely easier to "case" up.
