The above is just some of the stuff I've listened to.

Would a TVC or AVC have a problem running really long cables to a power amp (I'm thinking about 30-35 feet) with a 2v output source?

oh god the Blue Hawaii and HE60 sound so bloody good. If only Sennheiser could hear this combination. I have only heard the HE60 with HEV70 or pro bias transformer boxes at meets and I still wanted to own them. But the BH is on another level of clarity

You might not have regretted it that much. I can say I really didn't think the HE-5 were that great.

The foam does compress rather quickly in the mk1 pads. I put a new pair on mine shortly after buying the headphones and the pads needed to be replaced in slightly over a year. Though the O2 were pretty much the only thing I listened to in that time. edit: coming up on my two year anniversary of O2 mk1 ownership

It's possible to rip DVD-A discs depending on the copy protection used and the type of lossless encoding is on the stereo layer. If any Windows users are interested I have a guide/program pack, though it's still quite a chore.

You can't buy MK1 pads anymore but they were about 6000 JPY, MK2 pads are 8800 JPY I got mine from Kuboten.
