Edstrelow will have a pattern of sorbothane to make these Stax killers The Hifiman HE-6 crowd will break out different felt fazor mods. Anaxilus will have 3 different mods to get rid of the echo chamber cavern effect... The newest mod will be to coat the inside of the covers with teflon to make sure even the sound doesn't stick... etc, etc, ad hoc, ad addendum, ad astra. ad nauseum...........................

Yep, he bought a HE-1, and yet excessively quibbled about the cost of getting a Stax SR-009 and KG designed amp saying that you didn't need that level of performance at the price. This draws the obvious conclusion that he gets his lesser level of performsnce at a far greater price.. The logic is truly revelational.........

Yep, great gear as long as you don't intend to listen to them.......

For that genre of music (and the term is used extremely loosely here) It wouldn't really matter if you got two empty tin cans and affixed some iBuds in the bases...... You also need to get a coat hanger and use it as a headband...... I have been giving this a lot of deep thought since my last post and have come to the sad conclusion that your mate needs somewhat more than a miracle........
