Here is my latest find http://gilmore.chem....n.edu/mp4-1.jpg http://gilmore.chem....n.edu/mp4-2.jpg I noticed the cuddly soft toys in the bottom left corner. Must be for consolation purposes when the builds don't co-operate - or presents for Grawk.....

In my days as an apprentice electrical fitter/mechanic in the NSWGR, we had to learn how to use drilling machines, lathes, shapers, linishers, etc. Milling machines were just out of reach. We used to drill and tap blind holes in all sorts of material. For aluminium we used kerosene. For most other metals it was machine oil or soluble oil. CNC's didn't exist as small hobby machines.

I know the feeling. Haven't used a lathe since the late 60's.

WOT? only 1.21 jigawatts. That's only 0.00000000000000000000000000334 Googlewatts. Which is only 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.5 factorial... Hope mine will look even half as good..!!

He must have been speeding or getting into public mischief to attract that fine. The only viable alternative s that he's been hit with a fine and an apprehended violence order for stalking the employees at Len Wallis Hifi with a view to getting a loan of their Stax O2 when he gets his T2 built. Chatting up the secretary got him nowhere.... Poor Tom. That's what you get when you engage in tomfoolery......

mypasswordis posted:- "if you were a real pedant, you would say mhz isn't a unit of measure. if you had any sort of common sense, you wouldn't have posted." You are right, and I apologise unreservedly. Upon reflection, I realise that my post was out of line. Thank you for the correction.

3 x 1 mhz to 500 mhz generators 1 x 1 mhz to 620 mhz generator with dual outputs that can be inter-modulated 3 x 1 mhz to 300 mhz generators one with dual outputs that can be inter-modulated And some CW capable class A RF power amps 2 x 200mhz to 500mhz 50 watts 3 x 10mhz to 200mhz 300 watts Hate to be a pedant, but shouldn't the mhz be MHz? It just had me going for a split second, but knowing some of the exotic and esoteric stuff Kevin (note the capital?) plays with, it seemed plausible that generators with such a slow frequency response would be used. Upon delving further into this post, I realised my mistake. Consider the Agilent 33250A: Sine 1 μHz to 80 MHz Square 1 μHz to 80 MHz Pulse 500 μHz to 50 MHz Arb 1 μHz to 25 MHz Ramp 1 μHz to 1 MHz White noise 50 MHz bandwidth Resolution 1 μHz; except pulse, 5 digits Accuracy (1 year) 2 ppm, 18°C to 28°C I know capitals can be a pain, but it sure helps comprehension sometimes.........
