Does anyone know if the gain is adjustable on this phono stage? Also what are the 9v inputs for (battery powered mode?)

I listened to the Mofi LP and the Cicso Lp release and the Cisco is better. Sounds cleaner and the balance between the voices and the instruments is better, the voices are too loud on the MoFi.

I think the really good discrete designs do best op amp designs.
