  1. The Worcester County Courthouse:
  2. Doesn't seem very vinyl oriented unfortunately... http://www.betabeat.com/2011/06/10/what-is-this-magical-turntable-fm-everyones-talking-about/
  3. Stepper bit
  4. With the help of RJM, I abolished the hum coming from my phono stage and now on clean records, my setup is darn near silent. Also has anyone had any experience with a Spin Clean? I'm looking for a fairly inexpensive say to get a good, deep clean.
  5. Did a little looking and SPDIF isn't carried by the HDMI cable. The video and the audio share the same data lines so you need to have some active components to split up the two streams. The amazon one looks to be the least expensive and I think its funny that right in the details it says "Does not support AppleTV" and then there's one reviewer who is complaining that it doesn't work with his AppleTV...

I'd just like to thank everyone from HC who helped me out with the room cost. I still haven't been fully charged for it yet but I am more than certain I've been covered. You are an awesome crowd.
  7. There's a storm a brewing even here on the cape. Glad you are keeping safe. Starting looking at cars today and found one I liked. Wasn't going to buy it until the dealer offered me what I originally paid for my car and twice what I thought it was worth. Now I'm gonna have some new wheels tomorrow...
  8. Sierra Nevada 30th Grand Cru and then some Ilegal Mezcal
  9. From what I know, relays offer better sound quality as far as distortion goes compared to similarly priced analog muxes. Operating a FET in the triode region can't quite achieve the linearity nor the bandwidth of a decent mechanical switch.
  10. How is Hellhound? Finally drinking my Bitches Brew and I have to say that it fails to live up to the hype.
  11. I also have a referral code if anyone else wants one. Same stuff, 20% off your first order with a new account.
  12. Some 2010 Evan Williams.

Darn, Young Min beat me to it. And yes, same hotel as last year but a different room that's about the same size.
  14. Actually I'm in Woosta. It's cold and wet, I'm getting sick of being in school and that's about it. Tonight's Whisky Wednesday covered Isle of Skye, Kilchoman's Summer and Winter releases and Smokehead. Was not impressed with any of these.
  15. Lombard Driftwood L'Ange Tombe 'black' saison (was more of an amber) Martini using Ethereal Gin No. 2
  16. Congrats on your anniversary Grawk! Maharaja in my glass now.
  17. How is this different from what Headroom already offers with their selection guides?
  18. The Cinematic Orchestra - Live at the Royal Albert Hall, wish I could afford it on vinyl.
  19. The liquor store near me, Julio's, has a huge whisk(e)y tasting festival every year at this time. Had all sorts of bourbon, rye, blended and single malt whiskies and whiskeys. Perhaps the most surprising was Amrut Single Malt which is a peated whisky from India that is indistinguishable from a good peated highland malt.
  20. That is some fine automobile Todd. Grats! My damage from today's whisk(e)y festival:
  21. Talisker 18
  22. From what I know, the voltage rating on a fuse is at what point a busted fuse will arc. Having a fuse with a voltage rating over what it's being used with is a good thing. But I agree with MPI in finding an 8A slow blow fuse.
  23. Did you try calling Mouser? I had one of my orders stolen out of a package and they sent me a replacement at no cost to me. Granted my order was only ~$7 but it's still worth a shot.
  24. I tip my hat to you Cee Tee for taking charge and wish you the best of luck. Sticking through it all can be tough especially since you have a particularly large meet but it definitely feels great to see it all come together.
  25. Very nice Grawk Southern Tier Iniquity then a martini made with local gin.
