If you feel like you want to post, then I encourage you to post. That's no guarantee that you won't be hazed, but this is a forum and posts make the world go 'round--or something like that.
At this point, I'm wondering how much I would use a new iPad. My son uses mine more than I do. I still prefer working and playing on a laptop more than the iPad. I guess I prefer movies on the iPad, but that's about it. I guess I'm old skool like that. So, what I really think I need to decide is whether I get the 15" rMBP or a 13" MBA. I think the mobility of the MBA wins. But not sure.
I've noticed that my 1st Gen iPad has become annoyingly slow. I'm not sure whether this is due to upgrading to the iPhone 5 or an actual degradation in performance. I actually wiped the device and started fresh and it's still sucky. What gives?
Yeah, but it's not exactly like this has been a mom & pop shop for decades. This has been some sort of private equity play for a long time now and has also changed hands more times than I've had DACs in its history. And it is in at least its 2nd BK. Maybe this business model isn't working? Regardless, it seems that brand stewardship either wasn't a priority or simply wasn't possible anymore in this environment. It would be interesting to see who picks up the brands (who's #3 in the space?).
There has to be some balance between the rape and pillage private equity guys and the company-be-damned labor unions. They're beginning to resemble each other very closely.
I've rebooted it a bunch. And I've been using the built-in tethering tool. I guess I was just hoping that there was some app that was better than the built-in tool--rather than an app that basically is a shortcut to the tool itself. But it also could be that both AT&T and Verizon have been sucky post-Sandy.
The Galaxy S3 is really a good phone, but it reminds me why I am perfectly happy remaining a slave to the Apple ecosystem for now. Though I am not as happy with my enslavement as I used to be.
As I look back over the DACs I have loved, I think it's the upsamplers I tend to love the most. That sounds dirty for some reason.
Anyway, the Dodson, the Electrocompaniet, and the NAD immediately come to mind.
Thank you all for the kind birthday wishes. I spent tonight doing exactly what I wanted to do: hanging out with the Little Monkey, eating pizza, and having cupcakes.
Thanks again, everyone.
Im liking the Galaxy S3 but I an having problems with tethering/hotspot. As in sometimes it works great and sometimes it sucks. Maybe its the builtin tethering tool? Are there third party tethering apps that work?
