So you really think I should let this one go.. If they don't take that long to pop up at those prices I think the more difficult should be to get the seller to ship it outside of US. Thanks all I really appreciate the help. About the K340 I have been seraching for them and didn't find any. Well I have been reading some and maybe I could spend a bit more and try the LCD-2 but since I will have to buy it new it can be a bit risky if I don't like it. On the other hand after some talk with cetoole who very gently persuaded me into stax suggested me this lambda that monkey linked. I already emailed him and he says the shipping is 70$, he is asking the 600$+70$. From what monkey said on the thread it was a bit overpriced, what would be decent to ask shipped ?

I don't get why you guys are being so harsh.. By this time I was hoping I could get some useful help from headcase community.

Actually I do have them and I think their pretty much perfect, but I still like the idea of having an headphone for the times I don't feel like sticking stuff on the hear or be isolated from the world and being able to share it with family and close friends is a plus.

I'm willing to spend about 450$ on a used one. My listening habits its mostly electro,indie/rock and some folk.

Well I finally got my system complete with the M^3 and I just don't like/find my system to sound anything special. Right now I have an Northstar 192 MKI and the M^3 using the laptop as a transport. I had the HF2 but it looks I'm not a grado person and for the reasons stated I sold it. Since I just got the M^3 I'm willing to give the system another try with a new headphone before I sell everything. I'm open to your suggestions.

Well I'm not good with words but it seems to go lower nd it gives more vibration impact which I'm missing specially with techno. Oh and with other genres the the drums would stand out from the rest by their lively impact. Myself, I like it, the music is more fun but for those purists the jh13 the one to get for sure. But I'm gonna give it a try until the 30 days refit limit and decide.

I don't think so, I'm using the jh13 with northstar 192 Mk1 -> M^3, and I used the jh16 straight from mp3 player.

JHaudio...What recklessness customer service.. oh well, I will have to send it back once more. @guzziguy the better sound isn't just a thing of signature. Well hearing the tracks I'm used to, the jh13 really has plenty bass but the bass from the jh16 is much more realistic and lively.

The closed mouth method worked! Finally... I though the sound was good but now its more than that.. Its scary to get this kind of sound from an mp3 player. There is one thing though.. I'm pretty sure the label on ear pieces said JH16-somenumber and now it says JH13-somenumber, any chance they got the wrong drivers ?

The audiologist seems legit(Widex) but I'm not that picky I just couldn't feel comfortable enough to forget the rest and just naturally listen to the music, as I said the left ear piece was to big, it barely twisted, making almost impossible to have the mouth closed for a while without having the face muscles start twitching and the right was giving me some serious pain. This maybe be all caused by the tmj which I found out recently when I went to the dentist, dunno if you are familiar with these but when I open my mouth my jaw position shifts, making the ear canal different when I have mouth closed. Since I'm not a singer I took the new impressions with my mouth in the natural position and asked Adam to add the extra layers that he think will be enough to ensure a seal. If doesn't work I will try again with the normal impressions tweaked and if this doesn't do it sadly I will have to depart it and find a headphone with a similar signature .

And once more sent to JHaudio for refit, the left ear piece was way to big and the right had the tube to long. I got the clogged feeling on the right and if moved my jaw to the front instantly the soundstage would increase, better instrument separation and higher volume. Any one experienced this ? Even with all fit problems I already miss them, their sound is really addictive.

Why the northstar ? I picked a Northstar 192 MK1 that I will be using with the JH16 any time soon. I'm just waiting for my amp to come and try it, if you want I can let you know how it sounds to my ears but I'm not that experienced with Dacs and I only heard it so far from the Mp3 Player so you know..

I went to this summer festival in Portugal specially to see flaming lips and I must say it was intense! The visual show was the best I haver seen, totally insane.. The guy walked between the crowd inside a ball , got giant laser hand and.. As you can guess I had a blast.

I believe they can add extra layers only to the bores. Answering myself, I called them and Jhaudio din't mind. I guess if you don't exaggerate with months you are cool.

There aren't any reviews from the final product since isn't finish but some experienced users here bough the JH3A on the sight after 1 minute listen, so maybe transforming the jh13 in JH3A would be a choice.

How strict is JHaudio with the 30days limit for the refits ? I'm going to be away from home all week and Sunday will be exactly the 30ish day ..

After listening more time with the jh16 my impressions changed for better, I think I was still used to the grado sound and the jh16 wasn't so forward to wow me but with time I got used to the signature which I believe is the perfect sig for my ears , perfectly balanced not so much forwardness/brightness but still engaging and sibilance which made me go crazy is practically gone. And I started listening those amazing tiny detailed vibrations and the bass is something else I LOVE it. As for the fit I found the left piece to be to chunky and uncomfortable, it barely twists.. I tried the sensasonic seal test and even with more isolation from the left the tones were lower and vibrations didn't extend as much. Although the right piece is perfect. I will send it again and lets hope it will be the last one, I can't wait to listen to them without worrying to much with fit and from a decent source different than my handicap mp3 player. I'm seriously thinking selling my dac, ordered amp and go for the JH3A Nooo...

Impressive it only took 1 day from US to Portugal. First impressions, the fit seems right, the sound finally isn't muffled and sounds good still not what I expected, I'm using the mp3 player.

Jesus Jhaudio organization really sucks .. If the 40 orders delay wasn't enough, after sending them to repair I spoke with adam after they got it and he told me that would be sent 3 days later.More than 2 weeks have passed and guess what it was still there getting dust until I called and after waiting a long time they said they were sorry and that would be sent that day. It kinda sucks feeling that I have always to being checking them out like a little kid to make sure things are rolling specially when dealing with their top product. Let's hop adam made a better job than the shipping team and nailed on the refit, fingers crossed .

Bough recently the Northstar 192 mkI that was suggested on FS thread, I have been listening for 2 days now with my speakers and what can I say.. I love it, finally music sounds like..music.., it just elevated the game to a new lvl and this when I was ready to ditch my speakers system, thanks HC for showing me the way

It depends of the teams you watch but mostly if you didn't play the sport you are watching I think you won't find it to interesting. I though basked was so boring until I started playing it, now I understand how hard those plays are when I watch on the tv and I learned to appreciate it more.
