staying logged
Actually wrong keep it at www.head-case.org I got un-lazy and fixed it yesterday . Everyone should have been logged out at least once since yesterday, as I changed the cookie name to help fix a few random odd issues some people were running into. If you've logged back in today and you come back later and your logged out again that shouldn't be happening.

How to make the "recent posts" box at the bottom larger?
It's working ok for me right now. Could be a cookie issue you might want to clear them out.

CSI: Miami
Anyone else watch CSI: Miami? It's probably my favorite of the CSI's and I think the first two episodes of this season have both been very good.

Katie Melua- Pictures
Listening to Pictures right now. So far so good. I really liked Call off the Search and absolutely love Piece by Piece

Battlestar Galactica
It probably is true I've heard this rumor for awhile now. It's not as huge of a deal as you'd think though. As long as SKY in the UK doesn't split it up like that we'll be able to happily download the 2nd half of the season well before sci-fi channel shows them.

Battlestar Galactica
Yeah I thought about just renting or buying them on dvd, but I ended up just downloading them. I'll be buying them on HD-DVD when they come out. I think season 1 is hitting HD-DVD in december.

Battlestar Galactica
I finally started watching BSG two weeks ago and I just finished watching the end of season 3 over the weekend. It's a damn amazing show I can't wait for season 4 to start in February.

Hardwiring K1000s
For the k1000 hardwire job you might want to contact AKZip he did a really nice job on mine. They sound great and it was less expensive than the equinox and turn around time was about a week.

Paranoia wi-fi question
very easy to spoof mac addresses

Paranoia wi-fi question
mac filtering is utterly useless, not broadcasting your ssid is slightly less useless. WPA2 would be best, but WPA is pretty decent.

How slow is SinglePower?
1) I agree he is terrible with giving wait times which is unforunate 2) Lack of information? Publicly available (ie his website) sure I agree but if you call and ask him he'll tell you about anything 3) Some of the upgrade prices are rather high, but so what? No one is forcing you to get them. The stock amps sound very good already.

How slow is SinglePower?
I know a number of Aristeaus owners who would beg to differ

How slow is SinglePower?
Are you really sure it was? Or did you just think they looked like rivets? And just because I can here's some hi-rez internal shots of the power supply for my amp: http://head-case.org/tkam/thedragon/psu/ i'll put some shots of the audio section internals up later

How slow is SinglePower?
he could get rid of 80% of the phone calls and e-mail if he actually had a decent, up-to-date informative website.

How slow is SinglePower?
Well my SP amp is sure pretty easy to open up. Just four 1/16th hex screws for each case. Simple enough.
-
Single Power ES-1 configuration
Maybe he means the bases? If its a tube with a plastic base it's very possible that the base wouldn't be terribly hot to the touch. If he's talking about the glass though, then yeah something seriously wrong there.

How slow is SinglePower?
The SP chassis are typically secured w/ a 1/16th Hex screw. So while it's not exactly the most common size in the world it certainly doesn't require a special tool. A quck trip to any hardware store and about a $1 willl get you a 1/16th hex or $3-4 for a hex set that includes a 1/16th.
