1. Ok so we can now add custom fields in user profiles. I'm thinking we'll do a few standard ones for people to put their gear in but I'm open to suggestion on some other fields we could add. I added one already "Headphones & Speakers" you can see @ profile -> forum profile information

Spoiler tags

blessingx, lets say we have a few threads going for serial shows (Lost, BSG, etc). These shows pretty often have twists and turns in every episode. If we start discussing the details of those twists from the latest episode, the spoiler tag can let people who haven't seen the last episode yet still be a part of the conversation without ruining the twists for them before they get a chance to watch. Pretty simple .
4. If your going to keep them around, you ought to look into getting the mother spayed to avoid having any future litters take up residence .
5. Sorry for not answering this sooner, it can work two ways actually, if you just attach an image it'll automatically show it's full size when you click it or if you embed an [ img ] tag with a thumbnail within a [ url ] tag to the fullsize you'll get something like this: here's the code for it:

Yeah it'll do for now, there's a new solution in the works that would actually work with a mouse over. I think that might be better but there's no time frame on when it'll be ready.

Spoiler Tag has been added, it's not the most graceful solution at the moment as you the reader has to hit a button to display the text within the spoiler tag. Example Below:

Lost

Great episode last night. Didn't see the whole
9. I'll post plenty of pics when they both arrive (hopefully on Tuesday)
10. Don't have any pictures yet but I bought a pair of O2's and a KGSS yesterday
11. Oh yeah the archetypes have lots of wiggle but your right the big pain is leveling the shelves when you put it together.
12. Nevermind your right they don't offer sidepanels for the archetype series just for the more expensive lines.
13. The archetype 5 will hold all that just fine, it's not going to be the most sturdy rack though just by the nature of it's design. If you got it with the optional side-panels (i think they still offer those) it'd be a more rigid rack.
14. It was either last year or late '06 can't remember really, they really did sound pretty similar to the soundstage graphs though . Very little low-end an aggressive and compressed midrange and not much treble resolution. JimP, if you don't really have any space constraints you might want to take a look at line arrays.
15. I'd go with the Pico, it works wonderfully as a dac and can drive most headphones pretty well.
16. Haven't heard the Triumphs but I really like Coincident speakers I don't think you can go wrong with them.
17. I would avoid most of the Zu speakers like they are the plague. I'm not sure how much they've changed the Druid's lately but I when I heard them a year or so ago they sounded absolutely terrible. Here's some measurements from a review done in 2002: http://www.soundstagemagazine.com/measurements/zucable_druid/
18. oh man that sucks, i hope the surgery and recovery go well.
19. I might be joining the headcase stax crowd soon, I'm seriously considering setting up an O2 rig.
20. Sorry about the brief outage today guys, had to make some emergency repairs to the database, one of the main tables was corrupting itself. It should be all fixed now.
21. the vrds-neo transport is rock solid, but they are expensive as fuck. only recently did they start selling them to oem's i'm not sure what the pricing is now but it was originally $3k a piece (in lots of 50). it's about as overbuilt as you can get, if i recall correctly it weighs something along the lines of 23 lbs by itself. it does come with a lifetime warranty though.
22. so the lasers typically go bad in those players every 3-4 years? that seems like a pretty short time to me.
